The Horned Beetles "Trachyderes"
The Horned Beetles "Trachyderes"
Trachyderes is a species of longhorned beetle from the order Coleoptera belonging to the family Cerambycidae. This beetle has a hard and rather flat body with two elongated horns. Its two large round and protruding eyes are the characteristic feature of this animal. Both eyes are capable of providing a very sharp sense of vision that is different from the vision of ordinary insects. This beetle usually lives in logs by drilling with its strong jaws and can cause damage to the log. Hopefully useful and thanks for visiting my blog.
