Uncle John's Toppers, has a lot of topping options other than fried meat pieces with gravy.

My serving of fruit if no fresh fruit is to be had.

This is the history why this fast food item had been my favorite food to eat for maybe a decade already. When I just first started getting dialysis, the very first words that the dialysis nurse told me is that when I am getting dialyzed, I can eat everything that I wanted because according to that former dialysis nurse of mine, "it will get all washed away" as I was told. And so, whenever I would get my dialysis session from then onwards, I will make it sure that I will have to eat where I even take with me some softdrinks and eat as much as I can because all the while in-between I am deprived of eating foods especially fast foods although I really do not follow any restrictions because for one thing I was not made aware of what to eat and what foods to avoid which is why I developed the bone issues which transformed my body into what it is now and plagued me with pains all over my body particularly in my backbone until now even with the miraculous improvements which I achieved in the past four years after I was able to take one of the best treatments in my opinion and experience, which is using vitamin K2 Mk-7 which is a magic bullet for the type of bone problem that I have which specifically is Leontiasis Ossea.

Anyway, eating during dialysis had been the normal thing for me because for one thing, I was told that it is ok to eat and drink while hooked-up at dialysis. However I prefer to eat only if my mother was there to provide me food and if my mother is not present, I will just eat before I am hooked-up which is why there are many years that I am not eating while getting my dialysis treatments. It was already at that point that I realized that the foods that I would eat while being treated with dialysis will not get "cleaned out" because of the time that the food is digested and the time that the body accumulates the toxin by-products from the food. In other words, most of the after effects of the food will not get washed-off from my system during the time that I am eating while getting dialysis. But my dialysis sessions during the early years of my stay to my current dialysis center when I was a new patient there was different compared today because I can already feel the difference now compared to those early years for the reason that now my dialysis session had become less than the standard quality that I was getting before. That is why I do not mind eating while I am getting my dialysis before because of the better quality of dialysis back then compared to now.

Also, one of the reason that I would eat back then during my dialysis session is for me to avoid the hypotension bouts which had plagued me all the time and little that I knew that it was caused by gabapentin which I was using even before that I was a patient from my current dialysis clinic because I was using gabapentin to improve my sleep and reduce my body pains following my successful treatment of restless legs syndrome. That is why I never took-off the use of gabapentin even in small doses like splitting the 600 mg tablet into four pieces, it is enough for me to achieve its good benefits for my body like what I mentioned. However, I did overlooked its side-effect during dialysis sessions because it apparently caused hypotension which disrupted my dialysis sessions or many years until I figured out that it was indeed the cause so I just stopped using it and after that my blood pressure improved and never crashed again in the middle of my dialysis treatment.

Now, the last years before I stopped completely eating inside the dialysis clinic was when I stopped bringing my food prepared at home and instead buying rice in a bowl from the nearby convenience store from my dialysis clinic. My father was the one buying my food and it was not this type pictured above but with other viand. But my father always buys this one instead of the other "flavors" because it comes with other viand options. Now whenever I would ask my father to buy me the one that I prefer at that time, he will just only bring me this fried meat pieces with gravy which is why I had developed the liking of this fried meat pieces with gravy on rice in a bowl as pictured above. The gravy used in this food is really delicious and is actually served with an ounce of gravy and is not enough for me so I would ask my father to buy a couple of servings of the gravy and that was the thing that made this meal my favorite food to eat after my dialysis sessions until now after I totally stopped eating inside the dialysis clinic. So whenever I was planning to change dialysis centers, I would always think and consider if I can be able to have this "fast food" or not from a certain dialysis center because this is the only food that I love to eat after my dialysis treatment and I guess that it will be my favorite until the end, but only after my dialysis sessions.
