Folks at the streets
This is my post for Moment Of The Day photo challenge run by CCH community.
This one is an ordinary #streetphoto, no special moment or unique action happens here, but a trivia activity: this girl stopped to spend her lunch time at Neva-river embankment, sitting with a cup of coffee and a huge sandwich... or whatever it was. But I feel extremely happy with the bright Italian-summer-like colours, summer time vibes, leizure 'dolce vita' feeling this photo gives me. And what about you?
And - look - I found a red riding hood lady! Made this capture at a historic festival. What I especially liked about this photo is an eye contact, and that it was one take only shot, no doubles. Nice!
The last one for today is a bit funny. On the streets of my city (as, probably, in all other places as well) there are many sellers of all sorts of crap, who sit in ambush patiently waiting for tourists and their kids passing by... they are eager to sell them souvenirs to remember the city, toys that captivate the attention of small kids, and so on. This kid in the photo I would say is already a bit grown-up, hehe - however, as you can see, he was tempted to buy this small ceramic bird-whistle, and immediately began to test it (i.e. tried to get the whistling sounds). I strongly suspect he will get tired of this toy very soon, and the whistle will end up in a dusty drawer very soon :)
