My lunch time at Better Sushi - Verona, Italy
- 🍣 Hello guys, today I would like to greet you guys with a familiar Japanese food, which is sushi. As I often write about Japanese food, it is a restaurant that I go to very often. Even though I am in Italy, it is my favorite restaurant. No matter where I travel, J apanese restaurants are always a good choice for me because there are not only sushi but also other foods. And often I do not eat a lot of sushi and order other foods instead. But this time, I chose to eat more sushi and salmon. Let's see what I ordered for today.
- 🍣 This restaurant name is Better Sushi Castelnuovo in Verona, Italy. That time, I remember that I had something to do nearby. When it was almost lunch time, I came to eat at this restaurant. We did not make a reservation in advance, but there were seats for us. The price of the food is a buffet price, meaning that we pay the same price for whatever we eat. I usually do not order sushi or raw salmon, but this time I ordered a lot because I felt like eating.
- 🍣 Sushi is a Japanese word that comes from the words su and meshi, which means vinegar and rice. Therefore, sushi means rice mixed with vinegar and has a slightly sweet taste. It is sometimes called sari. It is a form of rice that is rolled and topped with toppings such as fish, vegetables or eggs. There are many types of sushi and the decorations are different. Each piece is not too big, just bite-sized.
- 🍣 My favorite sushi is the fish eggs on top. I'm not sure if it's fish eggs or shrimp, but if I go to a sushi restaurant and they have this menu, I usually order it because I like the texture when I chew the small fish eggs. It feels a bit salty, but it's fun. Lol. It's my favorite sushi. Another one is salmon sushi, but I like the fish to be slightly seared. Not every restaurant has it. I like the fish that is slightly seared because it's fragrant.
- 🍣 In addition to sushi, there is also sashimi that I often eat. This menu is fresh raw fish or meat that is thinly sliced and served raw. It is often eaten with sauce or wasabi. This menu is also delicious. The fresher the fish, the more delicious it is. The fish that I often order is salmon. Actually, there are also tuna or squid, white fish that I often see.
