Returning home to savor hometown dishes🥬

How do you feel about the prices at Wang Si Restaurant, a renowned eatery at the foot of Yushan in Changshu? Established in the 13th year of the Guangxu period of the Qing Dynasty, this place has a long history in Changshu cuisine. Beggar's Chicken is a signature dish here, but unfortunately, we arrived too late, and it was sold out. The crystal shrimp and stir-fried eel shreds showcase classic Jiangnan flavors. The restaurant’s glutinous rice with duck blood (Wang Si Duck Blood Glutinous Rice) is a must-try and costs 38 RMB per serving, offering a sweet and sticky texture. The traditional candied hawthorn dish, sprinkled with sugar and containing suet inside, brings back childhood memories. For six people, the total came to 874 RMB, around 150 RMB per person. Which dish would you want to try?
