RE: Landscape photography: The 2x-3x zoom experiment didn't yield great results using my second-hand phone
It is not easy to find an affordable phone with a good camera and it depends on what you will use most of all what the best choice is. My phone is old as well and after it died I will look for another one. The Samsang makes rather good photos but it's slow and as I understood it's done on purpose. I still have my older smartphone and the only think I can use it for is as a calculator, to make calls, set the alarm and the stopwatch and Telegram works and I can take photos but they are by far not as good as the one I use now. Still I keep it because it's easier if I type I will not be disturbed and my phone gets frozen.
My son had an Asus as well for 7 or 8 years and as the screen broke we repaired it. We also put a new battery in it. He bought it online at a shop in china (not Alexpress) but he lreasy had to buy another phone which is a Motorola. He bought a dated model because he wanted radio and everything that phones always had but is not longer standard or available. He says the camera is n't so good but he rarely takes photos and to my experience it isn't that bad at all (a bit patience is need since digital cameras aren't as fast as the old ones).
My youngest has her second morotrolla and is very satisfied. Both also say that they are happy it doesn't come with all the google apps and apps of the phone itself like is the case with Samsung. Most of the memory is used by apps because they all keep updating and if you refuse you can no longer use them, or get on the internet or use it for online banking.
We all use memory cards in our phones which is a plus because if the phone is broke we at least still have the data.
For photos you took while driving they aren't bad at all. They have a bit in common with painting and I like them. I assume the sky is really that blue with you?
A great relaxed day to you .
I am canvassing a Smartphone right now, I am torn when choosing because I want the battery of one but do not like the fact that Chinese phones flagship or not is actively spying on its users as I had discovered by reading it from reddit where the one that I want to purchase is what he had been talking about from that post.
The Pixel phones are great but there is a heating issue not to mention the cost considering that I can't use the phone for gaming lest it will overheat but at least it will not be spied on by China, its crazy. That is why it is taking long on why I can't seem to buy a better camera phone by now because the factor of a little improvement here but it has no feature like this or that and the cost, spying issue, bloatware, and all makes me postpone my plans although I guess that I need it for my work/hobby like what I am doing here.
By the way, my plan to rebuild this house is still there, I am just waiting for BTC to reach higher prices and make this plan a reality. Again I still have to make sure to be financially secured when emergency events happens because nobody will not be there financially to help me so I will really cross the bridge when I get there so to speak, that is if God wills it because I am still not sure of course what the morrow will bring me. 😉👍
Take care now.🌹🌹🌹
P.S.
The sky indeed is that blue and bright which is why people here in my country are in a cheery disposition always.
It's what they say here too that some Chinese brands spy on us but also that the EU doesn't accept that and those phones sold here are different. On the other hand, there are plenty of tests saying that certain phones (not Chinese brands only) take, unnoticeable to our eyes, every few seconds, a photo with the selfie cam or? Since I rarely use the selfie cam I covered it just like I used to do with my laptop years ago.
I don't know about pixel phones but with us they do sell phones without all the google apps installed because they say google is the worst and spying wherever they can and it's shocking what information they have (sell and who knows what more they do with it). I don't see any point in being Bill Gates's product.
It's hard to make a choice but it feels to me it would be best if you would have 2 phones. One for gaming and heavier tasks and making calls and online banking these types of tasks you should do with a different tool. Or perhaps calling even with a very old one. I don't find it safe to do everything with the same phone because what if you lose it or that phone is hacked?
A phone will be for sure the first thing you need. Without a good one or an empty battery, you will have a huge problem and for sure also more boredom. If it comes to batteries new phones in the EU can only be sold if they have an easy to remove battery. That would be a good step forward or actually backwards since the old phones had this.
It's good to read you are full of plans and wise enough to take care of yourself and your emergency needs first. I keep my fingers crossed you hit a few jackpots and a lot of worries can be wiped out.
It helps to see a lot of blue for a good mood. It's still grey here, the sun must shine but can't come true just like the moon and stars but as long as it doesn't snow I am satisfied (although with snow even the night is light).
Thank you for your best wishes and the flowers.
A good day with love is what I wish you.
Hi Miss @wakeupkitty, the reason why USA banned Huawei is because the one that directs the company is a high-ranking Chinese military officer or at least have an oversight over the manufacturing of Chinese phones and it is quite worrying for me since I want to use a couple of their Smartphone brands with my banking needs.
However, there are lots of people using Chinese phones but there are no reports of such breaches in security but Chinese phones have bloatware and the thing that I mentioned that it actively communicates to a Chinese company when you are using it makes me feel quite vulnerable with my data and security.
Just imagine if the phone really has a capability to monitor every keystrokes that you do in your Chinese phone and the phone can analyze it, we can never be too sure considering the high technology with these types of devices.
But anyway, it is fact that Google and Apple plus other social media companies etc. have backdoors for CIA in particular to enter into if they want but this government agency only do it for targeted attacks like for example they monitor the internet traffic and other radio signals coming from the residence of Osama Bin Laden before they took him out.
Anyway, I do hope that all of my plans would work-out for me, I do not have much dreams to fulfill in my life because of my handicap and the fact that I may "go" anytime makes me feel more urgency to fulfill them too because time really is not on my side.
It is just the God blesses me with more years in my life to the surprise of many people around that knows me as my co-patients at dialysis sees me as an inspiration for them not to lose hope. It is because for me, if there is just a 1% of chance on things, I grab it because it is an opportunity that might make me win ad true enough, it does work.😀👍
Enjoy the weekends!🌹🌹🌹
Thank you for all your time and support, may God bless you and your loved ones always.
