I hope all of good by the grace of almighty Allah,I am happy to participate in new season -22 in pastry chefs course ,I truly appreciate and want to learn new tips and recipes from our beloved teachers @lirvic and @dasudi .in first week we learned about Cold biscuit cake - Marquise before I starting my blog I would love to invite my friends @suboohi ,@jyoti-theligjt and @nishade89 so guys with out ado let's start my blog

Have you ever prepared any kind of cold cake made from biscuits? Tell us about your experience.

Yes I had ever prepared biscuits base cakes and always good marvelous results the best thing that I liked about the biscuits base cakes all are quickly done and few ingredients used for making cake in less time and off cause save Whenever my kids like at eat cake I made them because it's faster done and tamping in flavers .

I made cookies cake from Oreo biscuits,it's always perfect and easy to made my kids also prepared by himself that,s another attractive offer for me 😊😊.Cold cakes subtract baking issues specially in winters gas pressure issues occured in my country so oven not did there work properly.

Make a marquise with the flavor of your choice, remember to be creative and original (detail utensils, ingredients and step by step)

Well friends today I like to share Orange,vanilla marquis cold cake ,it's my first experience for making any kind of marquis cake ,I followed the recipe that given in course with little bit change so guys let's start my delicious recipe with the fusion of my personal creativity.I share here ingredients list, utensils that we need and step by step procedure,I hope you all are being with me till end ❤️

  • Milk 1 cup
  • Corn starch 4 tbs
  • Marie biscuits 16 to 18
  • Sugar 1 cup
  • Orange juice 1/2 cup
  • Orange slices for dressing and almond

  • Measuring cup

How I made /Procedure

  • Step :1

In first step I prepared Orange cream first for that I squeeze the 4 orange juice and staring it by strainer then add little amount of orange colour for more attractive look .

Take a pen add milk, sugar,corn starch and orange juice, mixed it well then put on flame on medium flam and continue string the orange cream till it will become thick and smooth texture got then off the flame and dish out in glass bowl and wrapped it.from plastic wrapping sheet .

  • Step : 2

In second step I made vanilla cream ,for that I followed the same procedure instead of orange juice,in which I put few drops of vanilla essence .

For that take a pan add milk,sugar , cornstarch and vanilla essence mixed with well untill all ingredients incorporate nicely then put on medium flam and continue stirring through out the procedure.When cream became thick and smooth texture then dish in glass bowl and covered plastic wrapped.

  • Step : 3

Now it's time to laying my cold cakes ,for that by first I layed orange cream by spoon then placed biscuits,then add vanilla cream and orange cream similar way and did all layers by contrast.

  • Step : 4

In last step topping my cake with oranges slice ,chopped ,almonds and crushed biscuits.

I also put green leaf of orange leaves in the middle of the cold cake ,it's my first experience for making marquis by the grace of this learning challenge and I explore fun and new recipe for my desserts range .

Tadaa .... My Orange vanilla cold is ready to eat ,my kids enjoyed and love to eat again . Kept in refrigerator for about 3 to hours before serving.

Include a handwritten name tag with my tag with my orange vanilla cold cake containing my username and date

Did you encounter any difficulties in making your cold cake?

Hahaha being a learner during making little bit confused about the layer of cake might be merged but fortunately it's separate and look good as I wants ,I also worried about the taste of this cake infact I have no idea before how it's yummy 😋 .Over all nice experience and no big difficulty I faced during all process.I love new fusion and experiments in baking...

Do you have any special tips for making it? Share it

Well as I said it's my attempt but some tip from my side are that

  • Make sure you use Maria biscuits, because it's harder and most common and not expensive ,try to add fresh milk, sugar and all ingredient

  • Moist the biscuits but not too much soaked in milk because sogginess of cookies not gives perfect taste.

  • Let it cool in fridge at least 4 hours for perfect constancy and frim your cold cake .

Never stop learning , Because Life never stop teaching , Every experience weather good or bad hold a lesson in every challenge , there's growth every failure offers wisdom
Life is constantly evolving and so should we the moment we think we know at all we close the doors to possibility
