Yesterday was one of the most beautiful experiences. For a long time we friends were planning to have a barbeque party, but due to various reasons it was not possible. Finally I got a chance to be together yesterday.

Morning time

There is a kind of festive mood around since morning. I woke up in the morning, brushed my teeth and quickly started preparing everything. The day before, I made a list of everything needed to make a barbecue. We shared the responsibility of marinating the meat, preparing the grill, buying the charcoal. I took the responsibility of cooking chicken and khichuri.

A wonderful aroma wafted through the kitchen while marinating. I was preparing the meat by mixing oil, spices, ginger-garlic paste, curd, and lemon juice. As the day progressed, the meat became marinated. Around noon we all went to the local market and bought the rest of the things we needed.

Afternoon time

At 5 pm we all gathered at the designated place. We hosted this party at a friend's rooftop. The joy of barbecuing in the cool air under the open sky is different. We all went to prepare to light the charcoal. I bought the coals in advance and kept them on one side in the corner of the roof.

Burning charcoal was not an easy task at all. There was a light breeze blowing and we were having a hard time keeping the fire going properly. So I brought kerosene oil from the market so that I could light the charcoal easily. Finally, the red glow of the charcoal came back to life. I put the griller. Then I brought the marinated meat from the room. Then I started arranging the meats one by one on the grill.

As the meat began to grill, everyone was mesmerized by its aroma. Some said, "It smells so good I want to eat it right away." The whole atmosphere became festive with the smell of meat and smoke coming from the grill. Besides, work was going on in the kitchen to cook khichuri. An elder brother was helping me without knowing anything.

Night: Eating and drinking

After cooking, I came to the room with the food. Along with eating, stories and laughter started. From fun memories of old days to new stories, everything went on. Some of the older brothers started singing. There was an impression of excitement in everyone. What a wonderful moment. At night, everyone finished eating and started cleaning the surroundings. Someone was washing the plates, someone was throwing out the garbage. I was in charge of putting out charcoal.

The stars in the night sky were our joy. Below I have shared a picture of the sky with you. Then one by one everyone left. I also said goodbye to all my friends and left for my home. I was walking and thinking that I don't remember the last time I had so much joy and fun.

This day of barbeque party made our friendship stronger. Not just grills and khichuri, it was a day of spending time together, laughing and sharing joy. Such a day will remain in memory forever.
