Nature is a very large place, filled with various components in which there is biotic and abiotic life as well as all kinds of natural events that occur. Currently, the balance between abiotic and biotic components has been disturbed due to human actions. Environmental damage has become a major issue in this decade as part of a global problem. Environmental issues are increasing day by day along with the growth of population growth where the need for land will also have an impact on changes in environmental conditions.

The environmental crisis that continues to increase every day, based on data from the Aceh Walhi, there have been several human-animal conflicts over a period of 5 years, which is about 24 cases. Forests as an ecosystem unit in the form of expanses of land containing biological natural resources which are dominated by trees in a natural environment that cannot be separated from one another have many benefits for human life, both directly and indirectly.

Forests as a gift and mandate from God Almighty bestowed on the Indonesian people are priceless natural resources, therefore, we must be grateful for them. The gift He gave is a mandate, therefore the forest must be managed and used wisely as an expression of gratitude to Allah SWT.

For this reason, forests must be managed and managed, protected and utilized sustainably for the welfare of the community, both present and future generations. In order to obtain optimal benefits from forests and forest areas for the welfare of the community, in principle all forests and forest areas can be utilized with due regard to their characteristics and vulnerabilities, and it is not allowed to change their main functions.

Utilization of forests and forest areas must be adjusted to their main functions, namely protection, production and conservation functions. In order to maintain the sustainability of the main functions of the forest and the condition of the forest, forest and land rehabilitation efforts are also carried out, which aims to not only restore forest quality, but also increase community empowerment and welfare, so that community participation is at the core of its success.
