Hello to everyone who loves to travel and eat,

We will go on a plane trip with you above the clouds. This journey will be very active and fun. Are you ready? 😊

Our departure will be from Istanbul to Hatay. The distance will take approximately 2 hours by plane. My preference was for the plane, as it takes 1000 km and about 12 hours by car.

In my sharing, we will visit this city with you after getting off the plane. We will try local dishes and desserts here. I can't wait to spend a very nice day here. Come on, accompany me and let's visit this city together.

Flight trip from Istanbul to Hatay Province

I made the necessary preparations and bought my plane tickets. Seeing new places and having new experiences always makes me happy. I feel more happy when I share this happiness with you.

On airplanes, I usually prefer the window edge. Because it is very nice to watch the unique view outside. I always liken the clouds I see to snowfall. It looks like it has snowed all over the world.

I can't find much to do because there is no internet and network on the planes. Watching outside, reading magazines or listening to music are among my main activities. Since it was a 2 hour flight on this trip, I wanted to get some sleep. Sleeping in the air is a really different feeling. 😊

Hatay Province Trip

Finally, our plane landed in Hatay. As we got off the plane, the hot air coming from outside was too much. It was like there was an air conditioner blowing hot. This is a warmer place than where I live. I took a photo in front of the airport.

Then I set out to go to the Hotel I had previously arranged. I can't wait to leave my stuff at the hotel and find out what's going on in Hatay. I booked my place in a nice hotel here. After resting at the hotel for a while, I decided to wander the streets.

As it wasn't too late, there were still places open outside. I have seen people from many different civilizations. Many local and foreign tourists had come to visit these places. We are one of them. 😊

Evenings are hot here. So I went in search of a cool and nice cafe. The article on the door that says “Example Cafe” caught my attention. It had a secret garden at the back when I walked in. This place, surrounded by ivy, is very beautiful.

After sitting here, I asked the waiter if there is a dessert that is famous here. He said it was a very famous dessert and a nice dessert to cool us down in the summer.

Rose Water Ice Cream. Original Name: Hayta Dessert.

I have never tried this dessert before and never heard of it. It arrived promptly after ordering. It had a mixture of ice cream and custard in it. On the side was rose water. After we ate, we were really cool. The aroma of rose water was a bit sour and bitter to me, but it was good.

We ate our dessert and wandered the streets of Hatay here. I saw many historical buildings. There are very old and unrestored places in the buildings here. It adds a different atmosphere to this place.

Since it's late, we have to go to the hotel. It's been a tiring day, after resting, we should go back tomorrow.

Hatay Local Dishes and Famous Breakfast.

In the morning, a perfect breakfast table welcomes you. All of the products here are completely natural and very tasty. The hotel staff prepares this breakfast for you in full. Many special cheeses and jams are available here. Hot tea is ready. You may want to wake up here every morning and have this breakfast. 😊

I had the opportunity to try many dishes as local food. I tried the famous tray kebab and different types of kebab here. I love to travel. But I also like to eat. 😊

Other famous dessert Kunefe

Here is another special dessert with kadayıf. Its name is Kunefe. It has a special cheese inside. It is a sweet dessert. It is cooked on both sides on the fire. A slide is placed on it. Milk is served with dessert. It is the perfect dessert. I ate a lot here. Of course, I bought these sweets with me for my family.

End of trip - Way back.

I visited many cities, but I can say that Hatay was the most beautiful city I visited. This is an excellent place for history and food. The weather is a bit hot but negligible.

All good things have an end. We have come to the end of this trip. I came to Hatay Airport again for my return. I would like to spend more time here, but there are many more places to visit and see. 😊
