A citizenship can be seen as a legitimate member of a given state who possesses a full constitutional right in the state where he or she reside. Or it is a legal status and relation between an individual and a state which entails a specific legal rights and obligations.

How can one become a citizen of a country? Explain one way.

Each country has it's own very unique and idiosyncratic laws and rules for citizenship. Some of this specific laws are very amazing. And there are many ways to become a citizen of a the country you desire, but in respect of the above question I will give just one way that citizenship can obtained.

one of the way to become a citizen of a country is through naturalization.
Naturalization is the legal act or process in which a non-national of a country acquires the national of that country after birth. To become naturalized, an individual must meet up the certain eligibility requirements set by a country in question.

This requirements usually includes having a legal permanent residency in the country for a specified period of time. Passing a language proficiency test, exhibiting good moral behavior, and passing civics test on the country history and government.

As soon as this requirements are met. The person can then submit an application for naturalization to the country immigration authorities . The application will be assessed and if considered, the person will be mandated to take an oath of allegiance to the country and renounce those allegiance of the previous country. After completing this steps, the person has officially become a citizen of that country by the process of naturalization.

Explain 3 duties of a citizen.?

✅ Voting in an election. Voting is to partake in the democratic process by casting your vote in elections.

✅ Observing public holiday. This is when public federal holiday is celebrated on a date that is not that actual events anniversary. It is absolutely different from observance in remarkable ways.

✅ Support and defend the constitution. You can do this by reporting any crime or illegal activities you see to the police force.
These duty encompasses promoting national unity and living harmoniously with others.
