RE: The Interview Showcase #11 - Exclusive Talk With A well-known German Steemian

in Hot News Community2 years ago

Oh, where are all your engaged readers?!
I hope I didn't scare them away.... ;-)

I think it was very cool and also brave that you asked me questions that get a bit into the nitty gritty. Questions aside from "How did you get to the Steem? What was your biggest success? How is your daily routine... blah, blah, blah?", questions that explain a little behind-the-scenes opinions.
There are a few facts that some users just don't know or don't want to see. Maybe they are not facts at all?

Well, anyway, we had fun and it was a great pleasure to meet you "live"!
Stick to asking critical questions! That's what makes your showcase special! At least one fan of your show liked it... ;-) Thanks for a few nice hours with you, the joint work - I would not want to miss it!

First of all , i want to thank you for honouring my invitation to the Show and yeah, it was great having you.

About scaring my engaged readers...?

Oh no you didn't 😅. Unfortunately...,there is just no reward ahead for beign engaged this time around..perhaps that's why you didn't see User's who wouldn't read a content but will come up with some Forced replies/Comment so that you can do the same on thier post....forgetting that ...that wasn’t the aim of why engagement Challenge was introduced.

It was introduced to teach Users of the Important of beign a good reader, a good content publication producer and a good quality Comenter.

So the Issue here is ....We have just few readers and genuine Commenters who take time to read a publication but many Forced Engaged Comenters who doesn't even read that content.

And as for the questions....i will say that i am only working to get better everyday..and as we all know..."there is always room for improvement".., so i guess i am making that progress.

Thank you so much , it was also great talking with you live and enjoying the company of your sheeps..😊.

...that wasn’t the aim of why engagement Challenge was introduced.

Haha, welcome to the club of good observers.... ;-)
Believe me, it's not very cozy in there - you have to shake your head so often and sometimes spit out in disgust.
Well, as long as the majority of users like the way things are going (of course only as long as they profit from it themselves...) hardly anything will change. And if it continues to those who are always looking for the conversation, too exhausting, the above club crumbles and poor behavior will continue to reign...
What must not be forgotten: We are the Steem, only we have the power to change something together. This includes the self-reflection of each individual user!

It's even more interesting to face the fact.

What must not be forgotten: We are the Steem, only we have the power to change something together. This includes the self-reflection of each individual user!

Oh yes, we are...

That change should start from each User..including me.😊

I hope I didn't scare them away.... ;-)

Here I am, after about an year of this interview.
What does this say?
Scared?
A little... 😉

Impressed...quite a lot.
Respect...you know the answer!

Well, you know that I will revisit this post again. But every principle that you stand for, directly or indirectly, is "there" in the interview!

I took a breather in between going through writing and reading this 7-page-long script for a formal farewell gathering tomorrow. People will be bored to their bones...I wish my conducting speech was as engaging as this interview.

Happy that you took the time for the interview... 😊
I read it again (phew, quite long...) - yes, there are a lot of statements in there. And (unfortunately) they're all still valid.

Good luck with your speech. With all the preparation, it must become bombastic... 😉

It was not a speech. It was "conducting" the whole event.
It went well without a hitch.
I don't know if it was bombastic or not 😆
But I made sure that no one slept...
