It is true citizenship education is what should be made familiar to everyone and no one exclusive, in this contest, I will be doing my bid to give answers to each questions made here, let's learn a thing.

Citizenship personally to me is a legal backing that makes one a bonified member of a given country or region. It also comes with responsibilities and benefits.

A person is said to be a citizen of a nation if he or is able to meet up with the necessary requirements of that particular nation which might range from being born there or getting it through honorary act.

There are so many ways to become a citizen of a certain countries depending on the requirements to be met, now for the sake of this contest, I will be mentioning but a few and then explain one out of them, so thus;

• Citizenship By Birth

• Citizenship By Naturilazation

• Honorary Citizenship

Citizenship By Birth: A Person becomes a nation's citizen automatically if he or she is being put to birth in the said country. Although some country's laws dispute this but this is the simplest way of earning an automatic citizenship of a country.

There are several obligations expected from citizens of a country and I am going to name them right here;

• Paying of taxes: Citizens of every country is tasked with the obligation of paying task and contributing to the Treasury of the country, from the task basic amenities will be made available to the citizens, this also in turn boost the economy of the country.

• Voting during elections: In a democratic system of government citizens also have the obligation to vote and be voted for in election, by doing so they will be able to choose the person of their choice to lead them for a specific period of time.

• Obedience to the law: Every meaning citizen of a state has the obligation of obeying the rules and regulations of the said state to maintain peace and decorum. By so doing, there will be no cause for alarm over insecurity which might in the long run jeopardize the economic development of the country.

It is true that steemians are citizens are citizens of Steemit because every steemian out here has met the requirement of the community which involves passing the introduction post test and being verified first thing first, this particular act makes one a boniefied steemian.

Also, we are citizens of Steemit because we are bound by the rules and regulations that covers Steemit and we share in the same goal (building a strong ecosystem), this is one of the strongest reason we are steemians.
