The Interview Showcase #23 - Exclusive Talk With an Investor/blogger

in Hot News Community2 years ago (edited)

Hi Folks,

It's The Interview Showcase!!!. with your one and only host ubongudofot...This is the 23rd Edition of “The interview Showcase”.

A lifestyle program that comes with many educational values. A weekly interview of top users/users in the blog concerning some trending topics on the Steemit platform. And tips that can help other Steemians to progress positively and help boost the Steem’s growth. It will help you to get to know more about Steemians around the globe and even Steemit itself.

I take time to look at some of the most important topics in the blockchain and I have a chat/call with top Steemians who have a greater idea about those topics.

They also share some tips that are able to help other users to understand the blockchain and make use of it in the correct way.

This week I traveled to India to meet a friend @rme who treated me so well, I think he is a nice guy. A few months ago, he brought someone who came up with some huge STEEM and also power-up as well. And now, he and his friend @hungry-griffin have announced plans for a major $1 million investment in new projects on the Steem blockchain....three days ago, he announced the development of a new mobile application for Steem - SteemPro.

Due to his busy schedule, we couldn't take a photograph, but i asked an artist to draw him...and this is what I've got below 👇👇

Who is this guy...?

Come with me as I find out ......

Ubongudofot
: Hello Mr.Rme, it's nice to have you on my Interview Showcase today and trust me, apart from me, every other user will like to know you, so how will you describe your yourself in real life?

🔯Rme: I always keep my distance from unnecessary glitz in my real life and try to live as simple as possible and I live this life in a simple way. Also, I love work and always give preference to honest people in everything. Generally speaking, I am a very simple person.

Ubongudofot
: That's rather sound interesting Man...

Ubongudofot
:How old are you in steemit? And how will you describe your experience on steemit since you joined in 2020?

🔯Rme: I have been on the Steemit platform for 6 years. I left once in between, but 6 years in total. In August 2016 I joined the steemit platform with my first steemit ID (@rme is not my first ID).

I was active from 2016-2017. During this period I almost voted about 55K posts. I had a curation trail of my own. During this time I had given a total of 55,000+ upvotes (curation worth $250,000). Then I left the Steemit platform because I got too busy with business in my real life. Then after a very long period, in October 2020 I joined Steemit again and was still doing curation only. Next year in June 2021, I first opened my own community.

Actually, it is quite difficult to describe the experience, because it is really difficult to describe the experience of so many years in few words. But I think this platform is the best platform for blockchain-based blogging. However, developers and investors should pay attention to this platform which the Steemit team should confirm or take action accordingly. Also, server issues should be fixed as soon as possible. Because this server problem causes occasional inactivity.

In addition, the experience is great. Because it is possible to find many good bloggers and friends through the Steemit platform.

Through this platform, I have learned many unknown things and seen much creativity.

My overall experience in Steemit is fabulous.

Ubongudofot
: Some weeks ago, you mentioned some of your communities and if I’m not mistaken they were up to six, will you tell us why you opened up to that and what are each of them actually meant for?

🔯Rme: Yes, I am the founder & co-founder of 6 communities. These are:

  • Amar Bangla Blog - for Bengali user's only.
  • Tron Fan Club - has been created for Tron blockchain, cryptocurrency, TRX-based Dapps, Blockchain-based Games, NFT projects and so many others. In short, it’s Tron and Blockchain lover’s Fan Club.
  • Beauty of Creativity - for all kinds of creative works.
  • STEEM WATCHER - To free the Steemit platform from abuse.
  • Steem Alliance - For coordination of all community Founders/Admins/ Moderators on the Steemit platform.
  • Steem Dev - For steemit Developers.

Ubongudofot
:How do you control them yourself?

🔯Rme: I have appointed competent admins and moderators in each community. They work very honestly. And their relationship with me is very friendly, So they can directly discuss any problem with me. That's why I don't have issues running so many communities. Because my admins and moderators love me and I love them. Basically, I don't control, I create a nice friendly environment so that everyone can work as well as they can.

Ubongudofot
: STEEM WATCHER was created some time ago by you for the sake of fighting abuse, will you say you have actually achieved your goal of fighting plagiarism in the blog? And how has that been so far?

🔯Rme: We are not fully started yet. That means we are still correcting and warning abusers, and those who are still not stopping the abuse. We are gathering information now. We do not believe in downvotes, but we will be forced to do so If they don't correct themselves.
Already the abuse has decreased significantly because of the Steem Watcher community on the platform. So I can say that we have achieved our objective before starting the 100% work.

Ubongudofot
: I could remember some time ago when you advertise for people to apply as detective in STEEM WATCHER, so many users were interested to apply, even abusers. What have you put in place to Scrutinize/trained your team members who work in the abuse fighting section in other not to misuse such privilege/ power?

🔯Rme: We have some own old trained admins and moderators in every case of Steam Watcher. The work of detectives is reviewed by them and the reports are published daily.
Every week 10 applications are selected from among the applicants and they are called for verification. Our Discord server has a special channel for verification purposes only. There, after the verification of the applicant is completed, if the applicant passes, he/she is given the role of detective.

So there is no scope for misuse of power.

Ubongudofot
: Will you say blogging on steemit has affected you positively?

🔯Rme: Of course. Because the way we treat this platform will affect us in the same way. I took it positively so it had a positive effect on me.

Ubongudofot
: How have you Contributed to steem's growth in your country? Do you intend to extend your helping hands to other Countries?

🔯Rme: I has created an opportunity to blog in Bengali. Bengali is one of the state languages in India. Through this, the popularity of Steemit has increased a lot in my country. And, Bengali is also the only state language in Bangladesh. So, in this way, I can help my neighboring country of course.
Besides this, I have already helped and continue to help other natives also.

Ubongudofot
: your name here is Rme, but a lot of users call you “Dada”, what does that mean?

🔯Rme: In Bengali, the term "Dada" means elder brother. I try to treat everyone like my brother or sister, so everyone calls me brother.

Ubongudofot
: Your blog is much of religious content, are you a religious leader?

🔯Rme: I am not a religious leader and I do not share any ritual activities related to any kind of religion. Some of my photography posts are related to our great festival Durga Puja. I only share the photographs of statues to present a remarkable example of Indian art. Nothing else other than.

Ubongudofot
:Do you think you have enough audience reading that?

🔯Rme: Yes, which is more than I know.

Ubongudofot
:I know you to be a very busy businessman, a family man as well, how do you combine that with blogging?

🔯Rme: I started blogging as a medium to share the beautiful moments of life or to share the noteworthy moments of life or to express my creativity. Which I do constantly in real life. So it is possible to combine easily.

Ubongudofot
: let’s talk about your witness, tell us more, what do you intend to achieve with your witness for the benefit of users in the blog? What do you expect users to do in other to help you achieve this?

🔯Rme: Our roadmap is to be on the top 20 list of witnesses so that we can take any important steps for this platform. We have multiple projects in mind that we will reveal after bringing them to this platform as we are still discussing them. Please, read below to know in detail:

Ubongudofot
:Have you voted for pennsif.witness? what are your words to other users concerning that?

🔯Rme: Yes I voted. My point on this is, if someone likes someone for a purpose, you should help him. And, I know @pennsif is a nice guy who has done a lot of work to make Steemit popular and great. Especially, I like his Steem News publication, it is always very interesting and informative, support him !

Ubongudofot
: which user will you like me to interview in my show and why?

🔯Rme: I want to read the next interview of @symbionts in your showcase. He is definitely a very good developer. I am currently using his application https://ecosynthesizer.com/ as a Steemit blockchain explorer. I'm so curious to hear from him about the upcoming Steemit development.

Ubongudofot
: I once read in @pennsif Steem News update that you and @hungry-griffin have announced plans for a major $1 million investment in new projects on the Steem blockchain. What is this all about?

🔯Rme: Yes, the news is true. At this moment, I don't want to say anything in detail about this project. But, I can say only that our intention is to make steemit is a good option for investment, not only for free blogging..

Ubongudofot
:Do you have any plans to support Charity projects?

🔯Rme: We have our own charity projects. You can check our charity project in the following account: @abb-charity. Many people have been helped from there. So far, about $6,000 has been donated from this charity fund. I help charity projects considering the humanitarian aspect.

Ubongudofot
: Perhaps my solar charity project could be of interest to you as more support is needed. It's sponsored by pennsif

Post: Is it time for another solar Project in Nigeria?

Ubongudofot
:What do you like doing in your leisure?

🔯Rme: I love to read books, listen to music, or talk with loved ones in my spare time.

Ubongudofot
:What's your kind of music, can you sing it?

🔯Rme: I love listening to old Bengali songs and Rabindra-Nazrul Sangeet. I can't sing.

Ubongudofot
:I might just have a surprise for you, but you will have to do some translation for me!

Ubongudofot
: What message will you want to pass to the steemit team

🔯Rme: I'd like to send a message to the Steemit team -The Steemit team is definitely doing a very good job. But I think the technical aspects should be observed a little better. Along with this, strict action should be taken against various unethical activities. And, those fake users should be completely ignored in terms of support. And, Those who are genuine users should be supported. To attract investors we definitely need a very strong development team, a lot of DApps & the Steem DAO fully operational.

Ubongudofot
: Thank you, they will hear.

Ubongudofot
: What can you say about my show “the Interview Showcase”, do you think it is interesting and should be continued? Do you see it as a program you can support in this blockchain?

🔯Rme: Yes, it's definitely interesting and you should keep that interview showcase going. Because it gets many people's opinions. And I definitely support this kind of content or program on the blockchain.

Ubongudofot

Thanks also to you, for taking the time to share more details about yourself with wider audience.

Have a great sunday ahead of you,

... I pondered and pondered over your portrait drawing. And I've waited long enough that this comment probably doesn't stand out much anymore...: could it be that we met once in ... 2017(?)? In a coach, in which you had brought your own mobile coffee machine...? If I'm wrong - forget it and please take it as a funny anecdote ;-))

Dear @ubongudofot

Thanks for taking the time to introduce us to another valuable Steemian. I think many of us recognize @rme already (I do mostly he promoted lately interesting project called SteemPro). Thanks for opportunity to learn more about him and his vision on steem.
