What Is and How Can SteemHelp Community Help You?
As the name suggests, SteemHelp is a community where you can ask and offer help to other steemians.
How will we achieve that?
To offer help for Steem, we'll have the following opportunities:
- publish content in the SteemHelp community in a form of guides or tutorials (video or text)
- answer questions without responses
- offer alternative responses, maybe more detailed or from a different perspective
- offer additional clarifications, where you see the steemian who asked the question still has doubts or isn't sure if he/she understood it
To ask a question in the SteemHelp community:
- it's as simple as writing a simple post with the question, but try to make it clear
- if you feel you need additional clarifications on an answer, ask, but remember to be polite, no one is under obligation to respond.
Good tutorials / guides will be pinned, at least for a while.
Great questions, especially if they don't have answers, may be pinned as well.
These are only a few starter thoughts, along with this account @steemhelp-cmnty dedicated to the SteemHelp Community management communications.
I also created two additional accounts @steemhelp-qa and @steemhelp-guides which will serve these purposes:
- resteem certain Q&A's and guides/tutorials posted in the community (we'll have to decide how often we'll resteem based on the activity in the community as well)
- maintain a FAQ index and a best guides / tutorials index related to Steem, based on the content posted in the community
- after communities will launch and if we will have an active community here, these accounts can be used to collect beneficiary rewards that can be distributed for top answers and guides/tutorials.
If you have other ideas how we can improve this now or in the future, please let me (@gadrian) know.
Ok helping ok? But both accounts havent even done the most Important thing in steemit ! Voting for witnesses Go help the platform but make sure knowledge is there
Hi @brittandjosie,
Thanks for dropping by and checking out SteemHelp Community!
All my accounts -- including "SteemHelp" accounts -- vote for witnesses (and Steem Proposals):
All the best to you and Steem Terminal!
Thank god 😉
.
Yes, I see value in both too. And I see the challenges ahead, with possibly one type of content (QA) prevailing compared to the other (guides, tutorials, etc.). That's why I refined it later, introducing the accounts @steemhelp-qa and @steemhelp-guides and the separate index pages (i.e. posts) I hope to keep updated as well.
Congratulations @steemhelp-cmnty! You have completed the following achievement on the Steem blockchain and have been rewarded with new badge(s) :
You can view your badges on your Steem Board and compare to others on the Steem Ranking
