AN INCREDIBLE ADVENTURE: Camp at El Blanquito Waterfall

Hello to all friends of Steemit. On this day I come to tell you about an exciting adventure that I had with my friends.

One day we decided to go camping, something similar to the ones shown in the movies. We agreed to go to Laguna El Blanquito, located in the Yacambú National Park, in Lara State (Venezuela).

We packed our bags, to spend three days and two nights in that place. We all met at the meeting point, and from there we took the bus to that place. The trip lasted about two hours, on the way we laughed, played, sang and slept.

When we got to the place, the first thing we did was get to know the place, because in reality we did not get directly to the waterfall. The bus left us as far as the vehicles can go, there we would spend those incredible days. At approximately 3 PM we went to the cabins that had been reserved, put down our things, and began to look around the place. We had absolutely no phone signal, so we talked a lot.

We had also prepared some outdoor games. It was a very good moment because we disconnected from reality. The games made us laugh a lot, we ended up dirty and wet. When night came we decided to have dinner and go to sleep. At this point we turned off our phones since there was no electricity, and we decided to save battery for the next day.

The next morning and after breakfast, we fixed our bags and immediately went to do the tour that we were waiting for so long. I forgot to mention that we were on a mountain, it was not easy for the bus to climb. Now, why am I telling you this? Because we had to climb much higher to reach the waterfall.

So we had to go into the forest, and start going up and up. It was a beautiful tour, we enjoyed every moment and every detail of nature. Something that from my experience, I had never lived. It was just beautiful.

After about 45 minutes going up, we finally arrived. We arrived at the El Blanquito Waterfall. The water was freezing, but we certainly had a lot of fun in this place. We get inside the waterfall, we swim in a small lagoon that there was, we go up the waterfall and we explore the place more. It became one of those moments where you sigh and understand that that memory will stay in your mind forever.

We got back to camp around 3PM. Going down there was much quicker and easier. The rest is history, we talked a lot about our experience at the waterfall and in the evening we made a bonfire. I'm sorry to tell you that I don't have photos of the campfire, since at that point our phones were dead.

The next day we returned to the middle of our city Barquisimeto. One piece of advice I can give you is to enjoy and travel with your friends and family. It is a unique experience. Blessings
