How to run a youtube channel

in Writing & Reviews3 years ago

These days, everybody might think of creating a youtube channel and make success on social media but most people don't know how?
Today I want to write about some ideas of how you can start and manage a good youtube channel, but it all depends on you, how much effort you put into work and some part of it is luck for example if one of your videos go viral.

Finding your Niche

So first things first, before you even start to think about creating a new youtube channel you need to consider a huge amount of time researching, first step is to research all types of niches that suits your skills, abilities, equipment and passion. And then select your favorite niche, just remember that your channel is based on that niche if you want to keep your subscribers you should keep on to the subject and not deviate from the path otherwise those people who already subscribed to your channel might not like the unrelated videos and it may lead to losing subs. So always remember this is the niche that you should stick to it forever, and you need to always have ideas to continue with new videos, in other words choose a subject that you can always make videos about it.
In addition, you should also consider the CPM of your niche, CPM is how much youtube pays per 1000 views on a video, basically videos with subjects about money, finance, luxury , make up and fashion make more CPMs because companies like to put their ads on those videos so this way they can show their ads to the viewers that are suitable for their products. so if you have a niche in mind that is related to these subjects and you know you can always make content on that niche do not hesitate.

Ways of creating content

After choosing your niche, you may ask yourself what now? how can I turn this idea into a video?
There are different ways for making videos, if you are good with acting and speaking in front of camera, just get yourself a good camera and if not a smartphones these days are capable of recording with 1080p quality and that would be enough for starting for instance one of the most famous youtubers PewDiePie was once using his laptop camera to record videos, so if you have the skill just start with writing a good script and writing a good script requires a good amount of research.
what I'm trying to say is after finding your passion and your niche for each new video that you're going to make first choose a title and start to research on that title on different websites, for example if you want to talk about Metaverse choose 4 different news website like BBC or CNN and etc get yourself educated with all the new ideas and start to write a good script.
When your script is ready, after that try practicing in front of a mirror or just record yourself multiple times reading and practicing the script, you can also record a full video without pausing or stopping and at the end edit out all the mistake parts in video editors like Adobe Premiere or Vegas Pro. this is a tip for those who are good in front of camera.
But if you don't wanna be in front of camera, or if you're introvert or other issues you can use your voice, and I have to admit the best language which brings more views is English, so if your english is good try recording your voice, you can start by making top 10 videos, first find 10 interesting subjects and then make your scripts based on those subjects, introduce your channel at first, give a short description about the upcoming parts of the video and starting counting and describing each section and at the end draw the audience attention to another one of your videos by saying if you are interested in this subject don't forget to look at my other video and add the video in the end screen.
Now, if you are not even good at speaking and recording try another way by using text to speech software or online text to speech apps, this way you just give your script to the app and find relating royalty free videos and photos for your content. also if you find it hard to write your script in english just use apps like google translate and write it in your own language, just try to make it entertaining to attract viewers and keep them on your channel.
If you think you can't make it that way, no problem I introduce you a channel with millions of views which not even using voice, the channel name is CRUX, they just write news titles under related videos and photos.
After you done all of these but your channel got demonetized because of copyright issues don't panic because you have a big audience you can monetize your channel using other ways like merchandise and affiliate marketing, so do not lose hope and be consistent
this was my experience about managing a youtube channel, I'm not a successful youtuber yet but one day I will make it. it's all about consistency and persistence.

Thanks for reading. Wish you a good day
