Hi Friends...

At that time I’m very lazy to read story books. Always I need to play with my friends and sister. My father is really loving for reading. He always telling that “Reading make the people more polish”. But I’m not like it as I always. In grade six, we have a reading period and the book that nominated by the class teacher was “OLIVER TWIST” – Longman Classic book written by Charles Dickens. So I have to read it weather I like or not.

I read it before start it in my school. I fell with it very deeply and I can’t understand how I bear my feelings on it. I learn many things from there. As a child with the age of 11, I got a huge experience about a world we don’t think as a child. I think that is the turning point of my life to understand the reality of the bitter life of some people and how strong people are.

Actually this reveals a shocking destiny of a poor boy who lost his mother during birth and it displays his miserable life in the orphanage and streets. This novel deals with a bitter social problem, and how orphan child can live in society. Dickens tried to show the life of poor children through Oliver Twist and teach us to see how we should watch about the society. Now I’m very emotional on these things with great understanding.

Significant incidents..

Oliver leaves the orphanage to serve an undertaker and he soon runs away for London.
Unfortunately he meets the Artful Dodger, evil Fagin and unwittingly and joins their gang of thieves.
Oliver is arrested, reprieved, kidnapped, and forced to break into the house of one who called Rose Maylie, and turns out to be his aunt. The family named Maylie takes Oliver in.
Oliver finally knowign about his origins and inherits a large sum of money. Thereafter finally, he lives a respectable life.

The Main Characters.

They were Oliver Twist, chimneysweeper Gamfield, Artful Dodger, Noa Claypole, Bumble, Fagin, Monks, Mister Brownlow, Maylie and Rose, Sikes, Nancy.

Best quotes.

"The sun—the bright sun, that brings back, not light alone, but new life, and hope, and freshness to man—burst upon the crowded city in clear and radiant glory. Through costly-coloured glass and paper-mended window, through cathedral dome and rotten crevice, it shed its equal ray.”
― (Chapter 46)

"Dignity, and even holiness too, sometimes, are more questions of coat and waistcoat than some people imagine."
― (Chapter 37)

"Why everybody lets him alone enough, for the matter of that. Neither his father nor his mother will ever interfere with him. All his relations let him have his own way pretty well."
― (Noah, Chapter 5)

"But death, fires, and burglary, make all men equals."
― (Chapter 28)

"But death, fires, and burglary, make all men equals.”
― Chapter 28

It's so nice....

🙈 haven't you read it yet? oops.. or you like movies than books?😊

I don't know how I missed it! 🤔
I think I'm more into tv series than books and movies. But I enjoy everything at the same time 😜

Oh TV series. I don't like TV series becuase it extends for years and years.😅 take more to watch. I prefer movies and books. 🙂

You got the point.. just think about how much we have to wait to get that thrilling feeling at the end. You become addicted searching all the possibilities and fan theories on how would the story end. If the story suck then can you imaging the disappointment we feel 😅

You won't get that in a movie or book. It's totally different!
