Contest: What lit my Flame of Happiness in 2021

Happiness is something everyone needs. We stay on it. worry kills us too slow. We can’t be happy all the time but we should maximize it. 2021 was a great and stressful year no one can forget. It has its ups and down moments. All the same, some moments lit my flame of happiness and I can never forget them. When life gives you a gift, cherishes it enough not to forget. Because it’s those gifts, we turn to when life shows us its other side.

School has been what I attended. We don’t know the outcome but we still go with courage. There was a talk I had with a brother who said to me, “Bro, work hard. Life brings many possibilities and opportunities. We can work something out for you to make it outside the country to continue your education after the first degree.” This made me the happiest person. I never had the links to make it abroad but someone gave me hope and that lit my flame of happiness.

Not all time that we are happy. Some moods aren’t suitable for studying. Whenever I am in those moods, I remember this talk and it spikes up by the day. it gives me hope and keeps me smiling to keep working hard. Until life hits us down, we will always wake up hoping and smiling.

Not that 2021 wasn’t full of good memories but what makes one happy if there is a bit of certainty that they are getting closer to their dream. That’s why this moment is the only one cherished most. Educations should be experienced from different angles. That’s where we learn life and blend it with what we have learned to be great in minds and knowledge of the books.

Everyone has his moments. 2021 wasn’t easy. but we hope this new year will give us the best of everything. We keep hoping and doing our best. When there is a rainy day, we say the sun will shine again. Just make sure you are ready when it does shine. Never lose guard. You never know when that life-changing moment will come.
