Hello everyone, today I will be giving a little tutorial on how to make our post look even more professional using simple html markdowns. A lot of people don’t even bother to learn this things because the thought of coding alone chases everyone away :)
But luckily there are simple html that we could use to make out post look good and readable. Today I will be starting on to make a proper.
How to make a Heading
Surprisingly, making an hearing like the one up there is one of the simplest things to do. All you have to do is input a hashtag before the words you want to make as your heading. Here’s an example below.
As we can all see in the image above, the more hashtag you add before the word, the smaller it becomes.
How to make your Text Bold and Italic
Many of us may have been wondering how we could make our text standout by making it bold, well that is also one of the most easiest and simplest things to do. All you have to do is add two asterisk in the beginning and end of the word or sentence you want to make bold. Here’s how…
While if you want to make your text italic (that is slightly slanted) all you have to do is add an underscore at the beginning and end of the word or sentence.
As you can see, the text below is slightly slanted.
How to Center Your Text
If you’ve ever seen a post which had a centered text and you were wondering how it was done, here’s how.
You can also make your post centered and bold.
Or centered and italic
Or centered, bold and italic
So all you have to do is make your choice and pick one or pick all :)
How to source your images
This last one is mostly for the newbies because I’m sure everyone else knows how to source an image here on steemit, except maybe the newbies. So here’s how
Remember that sourcing your image plays a huge role as it tells everyone where you got the images from. Put if you were of the images used in your post, then sourcing the images won’t be necessary.
