🎬 MY FAVORITE TOP 10 MOVIES🎬 YOU MUST WATCH

in Writing & Reviews3 years ago (edited)

In this post, I am going to share with you my favourite top 10 movies that have inspired me a lot. These Hollywood movies are great in terms of their content, visualizations, special effects, story, user reviews, and the impact on viewer's minds that is most important for any movie that we identify as a successful movie.

1. Avatar

Release date: 18 December 2009

I watched this movie in 3D Imax Theater at Science City, Gandhinagar, Gujarat (India). It was an amazing experience for me and my family. The movie totally impressed me and my family.

I am trying to explain this movie in short. On the lush alien world of Pandora live the Na'vi, beings who appear primitive but are highly evolved. Because the planet's environment is poisonous, human/Na'vi hybrids, called Avatars, must link to human minds to allow for free movement on Pandora. J

ake Sully (Sam Worthington), a paralyzed former Marine, becomes mobile again through one such Avatar and falls in love with a Na'vi woman (Zoe Saldana). As a bond with her grows, he is drawn into a battle for the survival of her world.

2. The Martian

Release date: 2 October 2015

The Martian is the best movie that loves to explore space and space science. This is the best movie I want to suggest for every child who studies. We can explore the land of Mars in this movie.

The short story is that during a manned mission to Mars, Astronaut Mark Watney is presumed dead after a fierce storm and left behind by his crew. But Watney has survived and finds himself stranded and alone on the hostile planet.

With only meager supplies, he must draw upon his ingenuity, wit and spirit to subsist and find a way to signal to Earth that he is alive. Millions of miles away, NASA and a team of international scientists work tirelessly to bring "the Martian" home, while his crewmates concurrently plot a daring, if not impossible, rescue mission.

As these stories of incredible bravery unfold, the world comes together to root for Watney's safe return.

3. Troy

Release date: 9 May 2004

If you want to explore our ancient world and the history of mankind, I would like to suggest this movie you can watch with your family. This is an action movie of an epic battle.

The summary is that this movie is based on Homer's "Iliad," this epic portrays the battle between the ancient kingdoms of Troy and Sparta. While visiting Spartan King Menelaus (Brendan Gleeson), Trojan prince Paris (Orlando Bloom) falls for Menelaus' wife, Helen (Diane Kruger), and takes her back to Troy.

Menelaus' brother, King Agamemnon (Brian Cox), having already defeated every army in Greece, uses his brother's fury as a pretext to declare war against Troy, the last kingdom preventing his control over the Aegean Sea.

4. Gravity

Release date: 11 October 2013

This movie is again for space explorers and who want to know the power of Gravity on our earth. We learned gravity and its equation during our study in school books. This movie gives us the real experience of gravity. You should watch this movie with your family without fail.

The short story is Dr. Ryan Stone (Sandra Bullock) is a medical engineer on her first shuttle mission. Her commander is veteran astronaut Matt Kowalsky (George Clooney), helming his last flight before retirement.

Then, during a routine spacewalk by the pair, disaster strikes: The shuttle is destroyed, leaving Ryan and Matt stranded in deep space with no link to Earth and no hope of rescue. As fear turns to panic, they realize that the only way home may be to venture further into space.

5. San Andreas

Release date: 26 October 2004

San Andreas is one of my favorite movies I have ever seen. Mind-blowing cinematography, amazing visuals with a great story. It's based on a massive disaster called an earthquake. You must watch this movie anyhow.

The plot of this movie is a seemingly ideal day turns disastrous when California's notorious San Andreas fault triggers a devastating, magnitude 9 earthquake, the largest in recorded history.

As the Earth cracks open and buildings start to crumble, Ray Gaines (Dwayne Johnson), an LAFD search-and-rescue helicopter pilot, must navigate the destruction from Los Angeles to San Francisco to bring his estranged wife (Carla Gugino) and their only daughter (Alexandra Daddario) to safety.

6. Interstellar

Release date: 7 November 2014

This movie is one of the great movies in terms of space exploration and the theory of relativity, wormhole, time travel, and the power of centrifugal force. It explains many scientific theories. One should not ignore watching such kind of great movie.

The theme is in Earth's future, a global crop blight and second Dust Bowl are slowly rendering the planet uninhabitable. Professor Brand (Michael Caine), a brilliant NASA physicist, is working on plans to save mankind by transporting Earth's population to a new home via a wormhole.

But first, Brand must send former NASA pilot Cooper (Matthew McConaughey) and a team of researchers through the wormhole and across the galaxy to find out which of three planets could be mankind's new home.

7. Inception

Release date: 16 July 2010

Inception is a brilliant movie to watch. It's all about the mind's power.

The quick story is that Dom Cobb (Leonardo DiCaprio) is a thief with the rare ability to enter people's dreams and steal their secrets from their subconscious. His skill has made him a hot commodity in the world of corporate espionage but has also cost him everything he loves.

Cobb gets a chance at redemption when he is offered a seemingly impossible task: Plant an idea in someone's mind. If he succeeds, it will be a perfect crime, but a dangerous enemy anticipates Cobb's every move.

8. The Wolf of Wall Street

Release date: 3 January 2014

In short "Old but gold". It's based on the true story of Jordan Belfort a great stock market giant. Movies show many ups and downs in the life of Jordan Belfort.

In 1987, Jordan Belfort (Leonardo DiCaprio) takes an entry-level job at a Wall Street brokerage firm. By the early 1990s, while still in his 20s, Belfort founds his own firm, Stratton Oakmont. Together with his trusted lieutenant (Jonah Hill) and a merry band of brokers, Belfort makes a huge fortune by defrauding wealthy investors out of millions.

However, while Belfort and his cronies partake in a hedonistic brew of sex, drugs, and thrills, the SEC and the FBI close in on his empire of excess.

9. Mission Impossible 6: Fallout

Release date: 27 July 2018

This is an action and adventure movie if you like to experience the bravery and courage of a person who wants to complete his mission any how.

In this movie, Ethan Hunt and the IMF team join forces with CIA assassin August Walker to prevent a disaster of epic proportions.

Arms dealer John Lark and a group of terrorists known as the Apostles plan to use three plutonium cores for a simultaneous nuclear attack on the Vatican, Jerusalem, and Mecca, Saudi Arabia. When the weapons go missing, Ethan and his crew find themselves in a desperate race against time to prevent them from falling into the wrong hands.

This is war based movie. This movie has broken many records and is one of the most-watched Hollywood movies in history.
