Good day everyone, how are you all doing. This is my first post in this wonderful community. Today I want to share with everyone how I produce fresh palm oil at home.

Producing palm oil is mostly done manually in Africa Nigeria. We use palm oil for different purposes in my country and other part of the world.

Here are the steps and pictures of producing the palm oil.

After carrying the palm fruit from the plantations in baskets. We put them in a big pot to heat for some hours before pounding it.

This is the palm fruit after pounding it. It is now mixed with palm kernel and chaff together.

Now we start separating the palm kernel from the chaff before we can extract the oil. This is me and my sister separating it.

This is the chaff we separated from the palm fruit. We put it inside a big pot so we can heat it after.

We put the palm kernel in a big basin so we can wash it and extract some oil out from it.

After separating the palm fruit chaff and the palm kernel, we put the pot of palm fruit chaff on fire to heat for some minutes.

We use this machine to press the hot palm fruit chaff and the oil will come out from the chaff.

After heating the chaff for some minutes we put the hot chaff in a bag to press it with the pressing machine.

Now we are extracting oil from the hot palm fruit chaff. As you can see the oil is coming out from the bag.

This is the oil we produced today. I did it with the help of my sister. Hope you all like my fresh red oil.
