¡Hola y feliz año tengan todos ustedes, estimados miembros de esta comunidad! El día de hoy me gustaría compartirles el primer video de este 2025 en mi canal de YouTube Vicka Photography, dedicado de forma exclusiva a la simpática ave de la fotografía, el zanate (Quiscalus mexicanus), muy conocido en Yucatán como K'au. Protagonista del paisaje urbano de Mérida, este pájaro suele vérsele por bandadas en los parques y en los patios; en mi casa de vez en cuando hay uno o dos comiendo tortilla y arroz que solemos dar a las palomas y torcacitas.

Hello and happy New Year to everyone, dear members of this community! Today I would like to share with you the first 2025 video in my YouTube channel Vicka Photography, dedicated exclusively to the cute bird from the picture, the great-tailed grackle (Quiscalus mexicanus), very known in Yucatan as K'au. Star of the cityscape of Merida, this bird is seen in packs in the parks and the backyards; in my home there were one or two of these birds eating tortilla and rice that we give to the doves and pigeons.
