Hello buena gente, my name is Abdulganiyu Ahmed from Nigeria. I am I student of agricultural and Bio-resources Engineering. Based on the ongoing engagement contest, I was happy when I see the topic to be presented in this community.

I learn about climate change every day in school and it pains me to see little changes from my part of the world (Africa). There is almost no restriction to combat the ongoing challenges our world is facing right now which human survival has never been more threaten then ever before. We all need to play our part to fix this problem that is why I have took it upon myself to educate everyone around me on the danger our children will face base on the planet they inherit form us and they have to live in because of our action and failure to act fast.
I have act in many way to educate people around me on why we need to take care of this precious home we called earth because no planet has been discovered with exactly earth features. Some of my act include educating people on how to dispose trash probably and how afforestation can help save our planet. I will be explaining below how I carried out these tasks with picture evident to help explained better.
-Helping my community dispose trash properly: Trash is the composition of rubbish which are mostly in plastic and in rubber form. Plastic takes a minimum of 20 years before decomposing and so up to 500 years. This is the major problem my community is facing before I act to eliminate this problem. With the absent of trash cans, the only place they think is proper to dispose they trash in at a new by pond and canal.
As seen in the image above, that doesn’t look right or does it? I am sure all our answer is No. So after I notice this problem I call the attention community leader and I make them see reason why this has to stop. The good news is we now have trash can at important junction and when fill, truck will come and dispose them properly.
-Plating of tress: One of the major ways we can tackle the issue of carbon deposit is afforestation. I have always encourage people to see the need why we should always plant more trees and stop unjust deforestation. The picture I am going to share below are tress plant around my house.

Our planet need saving and we all need to play our role in ensuring we leave a healthy world for the coming generation. We need to act now and move towards green energy. I am happy to see the wildly acceptance of solar power in this part of world (Nigeria).
I know most people are ignorant about climate change because they know very little about it. They is nothing to be ashamed of you can pick on your phone and search for how you can I contribute to saving the planet and if you actually do as suggested, you might just save millions of lives.

Rightly said our planets is in need of saving, thing such as improper vwaste disposal greatly damages the environment as they can lead to pollution,. Stagnant water and various others.
It is only by proeer waste management would we be able to properly take care of the planet also we must under that the planet is a living and breathing organism just like we are. So when we go about our day to day activities we should have this at the back of our mind
Yes sir we need to take action now before things get beyond control. I see almost everywhere in my surroundings littered with trash something need to be done. We can help by education people on the effect these could cause to they health.

It's so sad when people start depleting the ozone layer both knowingly and out of ignorance. After all these Terrible acts of felling trees and environmental pollution, we still suffer the after effects of all our terrible deeds. Mother nature is our friend but if we start treating her anyhow, we would face the consequences. I love the fact that you try your best in your own way. I really enjoyed reading your post and I would try my best to reach the standard of your post
Yes sir, she provide us with everything we need and look at the way we are repaying her. We need strong government law to resist the use of harmful chemicals such as chlorofluorocarbons (CFCs), hydrochlorofluorocarbons (HCFCs), halons, methyl bromide, carbon tetrachloride, hydrobromofluorocarbons and other and the punishment for breaking this law should be very severe.
This post is rightly timed,since this our planet earth has been infiltrated by a lot of pollutant.so the first thing we need to do to reduce the rate of pollution,is proper waste disposal.

Hello there, it is really nice that we take care of our planet, this does not just help to clean the environment or make the aesthetic view beautiful but also it protect the environment from harm such as the green house gas that affect the ozone loyal, causing global warming, causing he variation of temperature and leading to a high weather conditions that are not conducive to our environment. It is quite pathetic that most individuals do not know this things.
I see you have planted some trees, this is a very wonderful approach as though it will help protect the ozone layer. We all should encourage afforestation and discourage deforestation. This is a job well done. Greetings!
Thank you sir the reason why most of our environment is polluted is not because people are doing it intensional but they do not know the effect these actions will cause in the coming year and this is largely due to illiteracy so what we can do is to educate them on the effect of what the action could cause in the future and hopefully they listen and act on our advice.

Thank you sir I really appreciate the kind words. Things need to change and it should start with us little by little our earth will fully recover.
Proper sanitation and disposal of refuse will help in manintaing a clean and healthy environment but something as little as that has been very difficult to adhere to.
I won't really blame the government for this problem because they have tried in providing various waste management authorities in various states yet the citizens still won't adhere to instructions thus leading to dumping of wastes at inappropriate locations such as water banks, road sides, bushes and uncompleted buildings. This acts are very much detrimental to our environment and we need to act fast before we will be left with no planet to save.
Yea you are right we can't entire blame the government because the citizen themselves aren't helping matter. They dump they trash anywhere they think it properly which in most cases ain't proper. Thank you for reading sir.
