I think that if we want to observe our surroundings we have to propose ourselves, we have to get off that train in which we are mounted and which is called daily routine, and little by little we ourselves create that good habit of observation.
Yes! The Path to pleasure is ladden with a lot of PAINS, thus confirming the aphorism: "No Pain , No Gain", but i think there are some exception as it is for every phenomenon.
This is why @voidsoul is immune to this aphorism.
