Ulog#296 Wednesday walk at Baguio City.

After work, I met up with my girlfriend. We met at Harrison road. On my way there, I had to pass an over pass. This is one of the busiest over pass here in Baguio.

I was wondering what was going on in this place called Igorot Garden. There were a lot of people gathering around.

I looked closely and there was a boxing match that was going on. It was my first time seeing this. The view from the over pass was blocked by the trees.

I waited for her across one of the oldest malls here in Baguio called Tiong San. One funny thing about it was they haven't removed their Christmas decor until now. If you look closely there's a snow man.

When I met up with her, we passed by Burnham park. The next thing we saw was very amusing. An old man was showing his dancing skills and he led the kids.The kids at his back were just following him. As I recall the kids were from Kalinga.

We were walking further inside Burnham park and we saw these landscapes. I think this is for a competition for the upcoming Panagbenga or flower festival which the City was supposed to celebrate in the end of the month but it was cancelled due to the fear of spreading the Covid19 virus. The flowers really looked pretty.

There was a bird cage full of pigeons in beween the landscapes.

We finally reached our destination and attended mass.

As we entered, there was a tarpaulin. It's regarding the parking lot in this Church because the Diocese of Baguio is proposing to build an eight story commercial building within the church grounds. In my opinion this proposal doesn't make sense, why would they build it beside a Church. The parish priest also opposes their plan. They are currently asking for signatures to oppose this project. I really hope it would be opposed.

This is how the Church looks like inside. I love the stained glass.
