LOL, it's all fiction; just what I got from the prompt. Any mind-altering, trippy drug involvement would have to have been brought into it from past experiences. It looks to me that it's a 3-headed dragon, but judging by your comment, maybe that's NOT what it is?
I know 3-headed dragons are "special" dragons, hence the dragon names in the story. The two voices are the human's "good" and "bad" sides, sorta like in cartoons, when the devil is one one shoulder and the angel on the other, talking into the character's ears.
