Diary (29-12-2024) || "We fished in the pond and worked in the fields."

Hello Friends,
Today we are not very busy with work. We have been visiting our crop fields since this morning. First in the morning we went to our potato field. My nephew was also with us. All the potatoes in our potato fields have sprouted and the potato seeds have not sprouted except in one field. We inspected all the potato fields. The next day we will spray mancozeb and chelate zinc in the potato fields.

I came home and my mother asked us to catch fish from the pond. My brother and I went to the pond with a net to catch fish. Seeing us catching fish, an aunt next to the house came and when we were actually catching fish, she came and we gave her some fish. After fishing the other day, we had to cut the fish ourselves. We asked this aunt to cut the fish for us. We were fishing and she was cutting the fish. When we finished fishing, we gave her some fish and came home.

I took a bath in the afternoon and my brother and I prepared the cow food in a bucket. We feed our cows in three stages. I prepared the food first and went outside. Goats were destroying the crops in our potato field. I chased the goats away from the land. In the field next to ours, a man was filling a spray machine with water mixed with pesticides to spray the potato plants next to him.

We will sow corn seeds in the empty land where we harvested almonds last day, so we need to prepare this land. The corn crop needs 2-3 irrigations and we have to dig small ditches to make it easier to irrigate the land. I took a spade from home and joined my father in the work.

There were nuts here before and some rats, the enemy of the farmer, dug holes and took the nuts into the holes. When I was digging the soil, a rat was digging a hole. I took the rat out of that hole with a spade and killed it. There are more rats that are hiding in deeper holes. We finished digging ditches in the corn field and came home.

I need to set fire to some abandoned rice husks. I brought them here after threshing rice which have not been burned for a long time. Today I set fire to them and the ash I get from this will be scattered on the land which will be organic fertilizer. My variety of work for the whole day is over today. I freshened up and had a light snack in the evening and started working on Steemit. I am ending today's mood, Allah Hafez.
