Introduction of some winter vegetables.

Starting by wishing good health to all steemit friends. Yesterday I came to visit my father's house. My father's house is in the village. There are different types of vegetables worked in my father's house and father-in-law's house. So I will share with you some vegetables in my father's house. So let's get started.

As a result of the natural climate of Bangladesh and according to the type of soil, different types of vegetables are cultivated in different regions. However, different types of vegetables are grown in the village as compared to the city. Present is winter season. Different types of vegetables are cultivated more in afternoon than other season. However, there are vacant lots around my father's house. They include various types of vegetables such as cauliflower, turnip, beans, gourd, coriander, papaya, puishak, tomato etc.

I am very fond of farming and I also do farming at my in-laws house. So I woke up in the morning and went for a walk in my father's vegetable garden and saw some care in the vegetable garden. Alhamdulillah the yield of vegetables has been very good. Apart from meeting the needs of the family, they can earn money by selling them in the market.

Bean seeds are produced in the Ashwin-Kartika months of Bengal. After that, when they are seedlings, they have to be watered after a few days. Our bean seeds were planted in the month of Kartika. Now is the month of Paush. Alhamdulillah now is the right time to eat beans. I am very happy to pick the beans from the vegetable garden. Presently the cost of beans per kg in vegetable garden is given below.

Puishak

Puishak is a vegetable that can be eaten throughout the year. This vegetable is very tasty to eat. You can grow this vegetable garden in your home yard or in a small space. Vegetables do not require much maintenance. They do well with a few cares and watering after planting. After that you can grow this vegetable without much care. Another characteristic of puishak is that its flower seeds are very tasty to eat. I like to eat the flowers of Puishak. You can also eat Boishak cooked with vegetables or fish.

Cauliflower and turnip are not grown except in winter season. Winter vegetables are cauliflower and turnip. These cauliflower and turnip seedlings are planted in the month of Kartik. Cauliflower and turnip are available throughout the winter season. My father's house has a garden of cauliflower and turnip together. Alhamdulillah our cauliflower and turnip garden is very big. From here we can eat vegetables as well as sell them. Currently, the market price of cauliflower is,

papaya

Papaya is a vegetable that is available more or less throughout the year. Also, once planted, this vegetable does not require any maintenance. It grows effortlessly at its own pace due to the fertility of the soil. But the papaya tree is milky type, one is that one tree bears small flowers and fruits and another tree only bears flowers and does not bear fruit. A tree that does not bear fruit only by bearing flowers, if the head of the tree is cut and the leg is broken, there is a possibility of bearing fruit after the tree grows again. However we have had plenty of papaya vegetables. It can be eaten both raw and cooked. Vegetables can be eaten raw and fruits when ripe. Currently, the price of papaya in the market is

Tomato

One of the most popular winter vegetables is tomato. I like to eat tomatoes. After adding tomatoes to various curries, the taste of the curry increases. Also, tomatoes can be cooked in various ways. But in our house we are cultivating Dipali tomato. The tomato plants of this variety grow very large and produce abundantly. Therefore, to prevent these plants from falling to the ground, each plant must be tied with stakes. Alhamdulillah the chase has started bearing fruit. Gourd and cilantro

Gourd is a summer and winter vegetable. A lot of coriander is grown in winter in our country. This cilantro or Dhane Soch enhances the taste of every cooking recipe. However, our house planted without pumpkins a few months ago and has eaten and sold pumpkins for a long time. Two gourds are left to take seeds. Because next year the seeds will be taken from this gourd and planted again. Currently market prices of gourd and coriander leaves are given below.
