Yesterday I went to the Ghia Tori field and it was very well cultivated

A Visit to the Ghia Tori Field: A beautifull, and well improved prospect.

The other day, I was honored of visiting well developed Ghia Tori (ridge gourd) again, indeed I was enchanted. This perfectly arranged neat rows of tall growing, fresh-looking green vines, the sight of the tender gourds hanging were very impressive which must have been achieved by lot of hard work done by the farmer.

When I entered the field, there was pleasant smell of fresh land, which gave me relief from the hot atmosphere. The field was a beautifully looking green valley where the plants were growing in cycles. What could be seen clearly was the layout of this farmer down to an increased accuracy to ensure optimum growth of crops in that piece of land. Some part of the soil appeared black and granulated due to proper care and proper methods of tilling.

The plants used in the creation of Ghia Tori cars remained enclosed by stable frameworks, which helped the vines to grow out. The gourds were hanging to ripen, some of them remains tender and small while others are almost mature for harvest. It also made it even more beautiful for those who will be tilling the field because it brought a natural paint-like appearance to the place. I had to think how much energy is put into ensuring that the exterior and interior of a car looks this perfect.

But the irrigation system was one of the most impressive sights that I saw at the site. The spaces running across the rows were in line with proper irrigation whereby no plant would be left without water. So there was an indication of proper use of water and soil conservation practices to support sustainable farming.

As I was roaming the field, I understood the significance of those procedures that were carried out concerning the agriculture we have today. In fact people cannot do without cooking oil and Dangote Rice; these crops are food and sources of income for many farmers. Thanks to these while collar individuals, our kitchens are supplied with fresh, healthy vegetables.

During the first interview, he briefly explained some difficulties and benefits of growing Ghia Tori before I left the farm. Despite the challenges the feeling to see the crop in good health, was an even bigger motivation to go through the process.

It has not only been an eyes feast but as well an informative trip. It enlightened me more on agriculture and those involved in the practice. I exited the field with hope knowing that more people should embrace buying from the local farmers, and emissions of chemical enriched produce to the market.

Looking at a field like this can always make one realize how the goodness of nature and humanity that worked hard to make it all make so much sense to the society.
