RE: Student & Steem Comment Contest - Bullies
The kind of bullying I experienced in my final year in secondary school was verbal bullying, most of my classmates were always calling me all sorts of names just because I was saving my transport fare to school to buy my first Android phone. I heard about steemit but I didn't have any money to buy a phone for myself. I had no option but to save my transport fare and the money I normally get to buy snacks.
This made me to stop eating in school and classmates started saying am too broke, the girls saw me as nothing in school, they don't even care if I exist as they will pass information to some people from the teacher without informing me as well, I only survive by asking some of my closer friends some questions.
They will see me trekking back home both understand the rain and begin to call me silly names from afar, I felt bad but the only thing that made me calm was the fact that we are graduating from high school that year and we might never see each other again.
I decided to make friends with my juniors in school and I also endured the insults from most of my classmates till the last day of exam. I finally bought the phone 2022 and joined steemit.

This is admirable and my son did the same. After a year they asked him: are you poor? Since it never looked like that. I am not sure if he cared since he could buy a phone long before the others and food from home or once back home was good enough.
Thrre's no need to only be friends with classmates especially not if they are a bunch of losers.

Things like this happens all over the world so am not really surprised your son did the same, bunch of losers who behave like this deserve to be ignored entirely.
Yes is not necessary to be friends with just our classmates, school is a big place and we can he friends with other students although I had alot of friends among my seniors as I was always with them but they have graduated and it was my final year in high school Soni had to seniors but my classmates and the juniors I always advice.
That period of my life is something I can never forget, two out of them have joined steemit through me but they left because they couldn't stand the heat here.
