She made it big with her debut single "Don't Take It Personal (Just One of Dem Days)" which became a Billboard number 2 hit. Her second single has been "Before You Walk Out of My Life" was released as a double sided single in the United States alongside "Like This and Like That". It became a Billboard Hot 100 number 7 hit, and had gone platinum, while peaking at number 22 in UK Singles chart. The music video of the song surpassed 100 million views on YouTube despite being a 1990s video, which is rare for songs released during that era.
