SLC S21W1 | Cleaning, face types and implements necessary to perform good makeup.
Hello friends welcome to blog.
Wearing good makeup done by myself is one skill I desire to learn but have not had the opportunity to learn. Although I have tried learning on YouTube, I have never been consistent. I hope to learn from the teachings here.
Based on what was established in the previous module, analyze what type of skin you have, how you should care for it, and what type of products you should use for that type of skin.
My skin type is normal because it's free of impurities and hydrated. My skin always looks skin smooth and soft even when I apply nothing to it. I get lots of asking from people I come across most times wanting to know what I use on my skin.
My skin is neither too oily nor dry. All I do to take care of my skin is eat healthy whenever I don't feed well, it affects my skin. Another way is to reduce stress because stress affects my skin, and I moisturise it to keep it hydrated.
Show us a personal photo, in which you must explain the shape of your face and also tell us how you should contour and highlight according to your specific shape. (This answer must be purely explanatory).
This is my round face type |
---|
I have a round face type. So With my round face type, I have to contour my temples along my jawline and cheeks and in highlighting I will use concealer to highlight my forehead and chin
According to the implements needed to achieve good makeup, which ones did you know before and which ones do you use frequently; did you use them correctly? Which ones do you think are really essential when applying makeup? Explain your answer.
I know quite a few of them, which include lipstick, liquid foundation, lipgloss, eyeshadow, blush, Eye pencil, and powder. I use more of my powder lipstick and lipgloss because, most times, I am in a hurry to go out. Since I am not perfect in makeup, I consider it time-wasting since I won't get it correctly.
Foundation, concealer, contour and highlighter are considered essential because I see professional makeup artists use them whenever I patronize them.
As explained in the previous module, if you need to apply concealer (a liquid or cream product) to correct an imperfection, which of the implements do you think you could use for its application and which one for its blending. Explain your answer.
From the teaching, I will use a sponge and a cat's tongue brush to apply the concealer as it allows a precise application and targets the imperfection directly. I also will use the beveled cut to blend smoothly because it blends any type of product into the face
This is my entry. I hope to learn more as the class progresses and become perfect. I am inviting @rossneneye, @onyiluvdan and @eveetim

Nice job, I love the fact that you're willing to learn how to makeup your beautiful face by yourself. If you have all the required items needed, you can be learning it using your face. Though I learnt mine years back, I sometimes use YouTube to see new updates. Just that I don't use mine professionally because of lack of interest.
Well done and thanks for the invitation.
I have tried doing it myself; that was why I bought these implements I have, but it's not coming out nicely the way I wanted. I have to pack them up and go with my simple look. But I am ready to learn now.
Thank you for reading through my work and for the compliments I appreciate.
You can practice on people's face too. You're welcome.
