Briefly explain 3 causes of early crop growth damage.
The 3 common causes of early crop growth damage are,
Extreme Weather Conditions: Early crops are very vulnerable to conditions, temperature changes, frost, hail, excessive rains or lack of them can slow crop or even stop its growth.
Pests and Diseases: Suc crops and particularly young plant are very sensitive to pests, insects, fungi, bacteria and various diseases that can harm the crop before it is even produced so the pest requires to be identified at a very initial stage so that when treatment is being carried out, it is done appropriately to avoid immense crop damage.
Poor Soil Conditions: These soils will limit early crop growth and development because they lack plant nutrients, have incorrect Ph values, and poor water desert so as to mitigate on soil borne diseases so my dear friends it's quite advisable to conduct a status of the soil in relation to the crops we intend to plant and should try as much as possible to change the status of the soil before planting the crop.
Mention 5 importance of nursery pots in plant early growth?
Nursery pots play a crucial role in the early growth of plants for several reasons:
Root Development: Nursery pots give contained surroundings that help the plants lay down sound root structure and the pots do not confine the roots to become root-bound hence encourage healthy root development throughout the plant.
Transplanting Ease: Nursery pots ease the mistaking of young plants in a manner that does not harm the roots and the pots can be easily translocated to another location of the house, so making the plant to get used to new environment with least stress.
Moisture Regulation: These nursery pots are designed to afford water drainage and to ensure that roots do not stand in water which could cause root rot and at the same time, these pots also retain moisture around the roots and provide proper balance with moisture as is necessary for hydration ofplants.

Protection: Nursery pots give an added degree of security to plants being reared against pests, diseases and adverse growing conditions it serves as protection to the soft root and stem parts of a plant that hinders various challenges reducing early chances of growth.
Monitoring Growth: So due to the use of nursery pots the growth of young plants can be easily assessed by the gardeners, the clear or semi-clear nature of some pots enables growers to monitor the growth of roots, and levels of moisture within the soil as well as the health of their plants, which can be useful to help make alterations where necessary.
Briefly mention 3 differences between monocotyledon and dicotyledon plants.
Seed Structure: Monocotyledon plants have one layered seeds and dicotyledon have two layered seeds.
Leaf Venation: Monocotyleden plant have parallel venation in their leaves while those of the dicotyledon have the netted or the reticulate venation.
Root System: Monocotyledons has non-root system, but it has many roots whereas dicotyledons has a main root and smaller branches from the main root.
Name 5 examples of monocotyledon and dicotyledon plant.

Yes . Nursery play a crucial role in the early growth because diseases, pests will not easily affect it.
Love ❤️ your contest. Best luck.
