SLC S21W2 / Crochet Designs | Class 2: Bandana Making.
Bandana is always beautiful and lovely when worn but I didn't have the slightest idea that a crochet could be used to achieve this. I am glad I practiced this. It wasn't so easy for a first timer but after a second try, it was so easy for me.
My working tools for crocheting bandana
• Yarn
• Scissors
• Needle
• A bead
Task 1; Make a chain of 30 or 50 stitches, mention the number of stitches chosen |

A chain is always the foundation of this crochet class. I learned it in the last season and it's the easiest of all. So I made over 50 chains because I had to measure my round head to be sure the chains fit. I made a total of 60 chains to work with.
Task 2; Make a sequence of a chain of 2 stitches, plus two lying double crochets and close with a slip stitch, leaving two free chain stitches between each sequence, until reaching the end of the main chain |

When my 60 chains were ready, I added 2 more chain stitch then I went ahead to make the sequence. As I redirected, I started with a high stitch, I made 2 point and left two holes free between the sequence then I had my needle inserted in the third point and then I closed it with a slip stitch. I repeated it with 2 chains, two lying double crochets and finally, I closed with a slip stitch. This process was repeated till I reached the end point.
Task 3; Return with the same sequence as in step 1 until finished, making a low stitches |

I flipped over to the other side and continued with the sequence to make it correspond. As I turned, I crochet 6 double lying stitches and closed it with a slip stitch using the opposite side of the sequence. I repeated the process till the end.

I made a rose which I feel is the best to fit in the bandana. I would give it the best and beautiful touch and with a little bead, I positioned it right in the middle and it gave a perfect fit.
I learned how to make a rose from the previous class but I also watched online to get more details, and today, I practiced it well.
