We live in a world that moves very quickly.

Accordingly, it seems like more and more people want everything to happen immediately.

The idea of working for something and being patient as you build your success, seems to be becoming more and more rare. People are looking for instant riches and shortcuts and magic pills to their success.

As an artist and a writer, I understand the value of patience.

Unless you have an extraordinary natural talent, you can't expect to just pick up a brush or a pencil, and immediately expect to be a proficient artist.

Similarly, it's very unlikely that you can sit down and write an award-winning novel or brilliant articles without considerable practice and patience.

The same can be said for social media, like for example our Steemit community here.

You can't just sign up and expect to have a huge following that gives you hundreds of upvotes in a matter of just weeks, or even a few months!

We need to have patience, to be diligent, and to just go about slowly improving ourselves and letting our work be seen — or our voices heard — until time makes them more familiar in the eyes of other people.

Thanks for stopping by!
