The Santa Monica Pier

The Santa Monica Pier is a classic tourist attraction in California. But it's worth it. The pier opened in september 1909, but the Pacific Park, the famous attraction park located on the pier, opened in 1996. The attraction park appeared in over 500 tv shows or movies.

The pier mark the end of the famous road 66 and in fact is the ideal place if you want to see what's Los Angeles about. You can have fun, enjoy the attraction park and then go for a quick swim in the ocean with beaches surrounding the pier.
