The best thing about being away from your garden for an extended period of time is you will see (n return) far more clearly what thrives naturally, and how to work better with the natural flow and moods of the land. It's a big wrench - but softened by enjoying the global cosmic garden, out there.

Looks awesome. Sorry for the delay... only got back from the hospital earlier today.
The plant is indeed Yacon. It will grow a whole lot bigger. It grows really big. Harvest is normally right after the first night frost. The leaves will turn black and die - theh it's time to harvest
