How do you feel when your essay doesn't reach your audience? Have you ever thought about if your essay has communicated to your audience effectively? Are you well vest at the subject area you write about? Is your essay free and genuine?What outcome do you seek to achieve? These are one and two questions an author must think of before bringing out a write-up.
What are some of the essential elements an essay must have? Let us take an overview of what can enrich an author's write-up.
Most writers neglect their area of writing. This has affected many write-ups due to the fact that, writers do no meet the demands of their discourse. Can one drive without knowing where the destination is? Same applies to every literary piece. Every write-up has an area it must impact. There is therefore the need that a writer considers the audience in that discourse and what can impact the area.
The audience are the people we assume to read or receive the message or information by the author. They may be of various ages, size , gender, so depending on the topic speculations, one has to know how to go about it from there. The diction (choice of words) plays a major role here. If your audience reject you, your write-up becomes a waste of time.
The heading is most essential. It is what attracts people to follow the write-up. If it is catchy, it attracts a lot of audience. The heading is a summary of what is in the content. If it is not catchy, the write-up turns to be a waste. If the head is weak, then it therefore suggest that the body is also weak.
The main body is where we have the message we wish to carry across to your audience. A writer must try to do justice to the subject matter. Words and sentences must be explained well considering the type of audience.
A paragraph is where sentences come together to explain the main idea. The topic sentence (main idea) of a paragraph must be known because it summaries the whole paragraph and supporting sentences must buttress and substantiate the main ideas. Cohesion and coherence (sameness and unity) of paragraphing must be considered.
If an author does justice to his or her subject matter, it attracts audience to the piece that is produced. Let us write quality posts for our community.
