Incredible India monthly contest December #2|My gifts from Santa
Introduction
Merry Christmas to you all! My name is Ade and my steemit handle is @adeade. I am here to expose my Christmas wish to you and all the Santa Clauses all over the world and hopefully, you might be the Santa to grant me my wishes.
Before I delve into the main body of the discussion, I will quickly describe my keywords as they will be used in this piece of writing. Here are the keywords:
- Holiday: a day when we traditionally observe a festival, religious event or national celebration.
- Christmas: December 25, when the christian celebrate the birth of Jesus Christ all over the world.
- Gift: something given to someone voluntarily and without a charge.
- Tourist: someone who visit a place for pleasure rather than business.
Having described my keywords, allow me to begin describing who the Santa clause is: Santa Claus or simply Santa is a being associated with the christian who dispatches gifts during the Christmas period especially at the eve of the Christmas.

Santa Claus is locally referred to here in Nigeria as Father Christmas. In other places, he is known as saint Nicholas, saint Nick, Kris Kringle, etc.
Which gifts do you wish to ask for from Santa? And why?
As described earlier, Santa Claus symbolizes gift and happiness. Everybody's choice for the kind of gift they desire or wish for differs. And their joy of receiving those gifts vary.
As someone with a comprehensive wish list, I would have loved to reel out my desired gift one by one according to my priority, but since the opportunity to make wishes usually comes with a chance, I will try to be meticulous about my chances.
I would love Santa to give me as a gift a 'Mark IV DSLR Camera' for the Christmas tourist outing.

The reason I chose this camera is because I am going to be spending my Christmas at the beach and the view is going to be incomplete without taking a few shots.
How will those gifts be valuable for you? Describe.
The gift I requested will be valuable to me because it will enable me to have a very long lasting memory of this season. The pictures I am going to be taking will last as long as possible and reference could be made to them (the pictures).
Do you believe if we ask by heart something, we can achieve it? Has that ever happened to you?
Yes, it always happens to me. Many times back I did desire for things in my heart and it came to pass. I could cite many instances. But I will just cite one here.
There was this time I wanted to learn autocad. I needed a laptop with a graphic card, but I didn't have money to acquire that kind of laptop. I wished someone could just give me a gift and behold, I got the laptop from my uncle the third day.
In conclusion, Christmas is a season of merriment. Whether we are going to be getting a gift from Santa Claus or we are going to be someone else's Santa Claus, let's just ensure we make ourselves happy. We shouldn't let someone deprive us of the joy and happiness of the season neither should we deprive ourselves of it.

You've done well in this post. It's interesting to know santa symbolises gifts and Happiness. It's also interesting to know you'll spend most of your time in the beach this holiday that's why you need a camera to capture every moment. I wish I could have such time. আপনি সান্তা ক্লোজ এর কাছে একটা ক্যামেরা চেয়েছেন যেটা আপনার পরবর্তী ঋতুতে আপনার ফটোগ্রাফি ধরে রাখতে গুরুত্বপূর্ণ ভূমিকা পালন করবে। বিশেষ করে স্মৃতি ধরে রাখার ক্ষেত্রে আমরা যখন ফটোগ্রাফি তুলি তখন। একটা ক্যামেরা আমাদের জন্য খুবই গুরুত্বপূর্ণ। আপনি সেই জিনিসটাকে অনেক বেশি মূল্যবান মনে করেন। আপনি ঠিকই বলেছেন মন প্রাণ দিয়ে যদি কেউ কিছু চায় তাহলে সেটা পূরণ হয়। তার জন্য হয়তো বা কঠোর পরিশ্রম করতে হয়। ধন্যবাদ আপনাকে চমৎকার প্রতিযোগিতার প্রশ্নগুলো এত সুন্দর ভাবে উপস্থাপন করার জন্য। ভালো থাকবেন।
