Hiii Steemians, how are you all doing?
So today, I'm taking part in this contest entitled "Which is your preference, quality or quantity"?
I love this topic so much and there are lots of interesting information here. Read on♥️

Which is your preference, Quality or Quantity? Elaborate reasons behind your choice

1. Truth be told, every buyer will be so happy if he or she is given an item larger than expected. Infact, for my friends here in Nigeria we don't mind walking round the whole market just to find a place that sells an item cheaper and in large quantity. However, who would love to buy a very large quantity of rotten tomatoes or onions sold at a very cheap price? Obviously no one because buying quality products or items is more cheaper than buying medicine to treat the aftereffects of cheap, less quality items.

So for me I would always go for quality than quantity. The importance of buying quality products whether edible or non edible cannot be overestimated. In the aspect of nonedible items such as housewares, furnitures or even gadgets, quality will always win over quantity. If you buy a less quality phone, you will end up spending more money to repair it and fix a lot of damaged parts even enough to buy a whole new phone.

In our daily lifestyle whether we are shopping for clothes, food items or gadgets we need to make buying quality things a must. Speaking of gadgets, let me tell you a story. A friend of mine decided to spend less and bought a "second hand" phone. It's called a second hand because it has been used by a first person and now sold cheaper to a second buyer.

Little did she know that the phone was used for criminal activities and the criminal was lucky enough to have someone buy the phone, thus exempting him of his crime. After a while, the lady got a call that the phone she bought belongs to a prominent individual and she got into a lot of trouble trying to prove her innocence and wriggle herself out of the whole mess. If she had bought a brand new phone from the onset she would have avoided the pains and waste of money and debt she incurred over the incident.

Now let's talk about housewares and furnitures, if you buy a large number of furnitures sold at a cheaper price or a large number of pipes and kitchen wares over a quality and expensive one, you'll still end up wasting money repairing things, chances are, the chairs you'll buy are probably going to deteriorate overtime due to termites or even the fake wood used or the pipes bought will probably be a lesser quality and thus would not stand the test of time, they might easily be broken or something worse may happen. One thing may lead to another and you'll end up still buying the original product after spending much repairing the fake one.

Do you bargain while shopping? Share if you have any experience.

2. Of course, there is no harm in bargaining for a lesser price of a quality product. I do bargain all the time when I go for shopping. Last week, I went to the market to purchase some spaghetti, the seller probably may have purchased that item for 1000 and then decides to sell it for 1200, infact, every seller would definitely add some amount on top of what was bought so as to make his or her own gain, so for me knowing that, I'll price such item at 1050 or 1100 at most, I try not to cheat the seller so much and not to also cheat myself and overspend. Now, most times the prices are fixed and cannot be bargained, in that case I'll always go for the nearest place selling cheaper and still quality, though it may not be as good as the fixed price area but it will be something close to that quality.

What must we follow in our daily lifestyle, quality or quantity? In terms of a different aspect besides shopping. Justify

3. Asides shopping matters, in our daily lifestyle, quality will always gain an individual a good reputation. Quality will always be better, in life, if an individual has a goal to reach and decides to spread himself thin by trying to do everything at a time he will end up losing out on both, but if he concentrates on matters that are truly essential and will lead him to his goal then success is guaranteed. In friendship goals, spending quality time with a friend will help deepen the bond overtime rather than trying to spend little time with a huge number of friends, majority of who may turn out to be fake.

Having few friends ensures that an individual is able to know each of his friends, the likes, dislikes and what each one is capable of doing, but if one keeps quantity as a yardstick when it comes to friendship, such one cannot really discern the sort of person he truly is keeping.
On the whole whether in shopping, or friendship or just life goals of any sort, QUALITY will always win over quantity!

Thanks for reading my friends ♥️

You did a nice job in your analysis, truly everyone will go for quality products.

But some times, buyers do fall a victim of being deceived by marketers buy low quality products at almost the same rate as the high quality products.

I think that should be another topic to discuss. I wish you the best in this contest.

Yes that's another topic for discussion
