be:-The November contest #2 by @sduttaskitchen| Which is your preference, Quality or Quantity?
Greetings to my friends in incredible India community. I am thrilled to write to you again in this contest by @sduttaskitchen indeed there are many ways and method of shopping. I will be sharing my thoughts, kindly read through.
Which is your preference, Quality or Quantity? Elaborate reasons behind your choice!
I make my choice based in the situations I am faced with, for instance if I want to buy clothes, shoes bags, laptops, phones I always go for the quality and not the quantity. Like the shoes shown up there are my daughter school shoes I bought them in open market when school resumed and those two shoes costed me #15,000 (43 steem) the black was #6,000 (16 steem) and the white boot costed #9,000(26 steem). They are quality shoes though expensive. Even in the market there was a shop I went to and I was told the last price for the black shoe is #10,000 (28 steem)and I was pleading for #8,000 (23 steem). If I were to purchase them in a mall they should have costed #15,000 (43 steem) each or more. That was the reason I hurriedly pay at the amount I was told at this particular shop.
Some brands do have low quality that they produce into the market and if you watch out they are always cheaper. So I will go for a brand that are well known for it's quality because a well known brand always have quality for each of their products .Another instance is like my phone, it is a Nokia phone it is strong and durable though I am careful handling the phone. If it were to be another brand I believe it wouldn't have withstand the amount of fallings my phone survive at times.
For food stuff I go for quantity and quality because I know the market I can get the same quality of food sold at a higher cost at the mall with less price and higher quantity. This is because the mall buys those food stuffs from that market to sell at a higher price.
Do you bargain while shopping? Share if you have any experience.
While shopping in an open market I bargain comfortably because there are no price tags to those goods. Meanwhile in a shopping mall or supermarkets there are price tags to every product sold and with that I can't bargain.
What must we follow in our daily lifestyle, quality or quantity? In terms of different aspects besides shopping, Justify.
We must always go for quality be it food, clothes, shoes or whatever. At the same time we shouldn't be carried away by the name of a place like mall or supermarkets because the same thing they sell to us at a higher price can also be purchase at a lesser price in an open market or another place. While having quality in mind we should also consider our pockets if it can afford us what we intend to purchase and so should go for what we can afford or work harder to purchase what we desire.
Also we need to know that there are things we must go for it quality such things are things that we may need to use longer in our lives before buying a new one such as phones, laptops, bags etc. For instance, my HP laptop I bought in 2019 got bad just last month. The casing expired and the casing started waring out. If I had bought a higher quality laptop that would not have happened because I do not have money to buy another laptop now. So I strongly recommend we should always go for high quality products and should also find out where we could purchase them at an affordable price and should not be carried away by how big a mall or supermarkets is.
Another thing buying online is not bad though it comes with it's own challenges. Buying from online market such as Jumia or highly recommended because I've bought so many quality things from them and they can get back their product if it becomes faulty at early time.
