Incredible India monthly contest of December #1|Three gifts from Santa for 2025!

Introduction

Christmas Day is a unique day were people all over the world come together to celebrate with their families in their own different ways. In todays post, I will be sharing with us 3 gifts I’ve always wanted for Christmas, including how I’m going to celebrate this Christmas Day this year and the place I’ll love to visit, if given the privilege to join Santa on his magic sleigh.

But before going into details, let me invite @lovelystar, @ochelebe and @diary-of-ima to participate in the post.

Which three gifts would you like to request from Santa for 2025? Reasons.

  • The first gift I’ll love Santa An End to Global Hunger. While hunger is a global challenge , the situation in Nigeria, especially in this current hardship is unbelievable. It’s so bad that, people break into homes just to steal food to eat. If Santa could make food accessible to the whole world, it would really go a long way to bring relief to nations that the hunger and malnutrition crises is overwhelming.
  • My second gift I will appreciate from Santa is peace and harmony among the human race. The meaningless war is becoming too much among nations and within nations. Everyday, new rebel groups keep springing up their ugly heads to cause chaos in Nigeria. That peaceful coexistence among everyone will make the world a better place, for me, for you and the entire human race. A world we can build each other up, rather than tear each other down.
  • The last but not the least is wisdom. This world is highly complicated and i really need wisdom to navigate around the hurdles of life. I believe wisdom is one of the best gift a man can ever get. If you think I’m lying , ask king Solomon when next you see him… lol.
How do you celebrate Christmas Day?

On Christmas Day, i and my family go to church to celebrate the birth of Jesus Christ. This is a long time tradition that is non negotiable in the family. When we return, cooking begins. It’s important to note that in Nigeria, when you cook on Christmas Day, you don’t cook for only your family, you increase the food and drinks budget because the chances of visitors or relatives coming to visit you on that day is very high. So, you have to be ready to entertain any guests that visits.

In the evening, that’s when the fun starts. Sometimes, I go for a swim with my friends or we go to a beach party we hold every Christmas Day in the village. Apart from the Christmas party, I and my siblings with their respective families seize the opportunity to also have some quality time with our dad because that’s where he prefers staying. We have tried to convince him so many times to stay in the city but he has refused.

Besides my dad, I use the opportunity to hangout with some of my distant relatives that also visits the village during the Christmas holidays.

If Santa offered you to travel on his sledge, where would you like to visit? Reasons behind your selection?

I thought of going around the world with Santa, meeting new people and learning new cultures. The idea of seeing the world through santa’s perspective would have been really fascinating but after thorough consideration, I don’t need that again. Right now, were I would love to visit is Santa’s hometown.

For a moment, imagine visiting the North Pole with Santa. It would really be fun chilling with santa in his natural element, where the air is filled with jingle bells and the aroma of cookies like we see in Christmas movies. I’ll also love to see the elves for the first time, to know if they actually look like what we see on television, always cheerful and doing Santa’s bidding or if they have this dark trait like leprechaun.

I would also get the opportunity of witnessing how the Christmas magic is made and not to forget, taking a ride with Santa in his reindeer flying through the sky as he distributes his gifts to all those believes in Christmas. Having such a wonderful experience is going to be a remarkable one that I’ll tell my children’s children. In fact, been there alone will give me enough content to write for a year on Steemit.
