Good day my steemit neighbors, friends and organizers of this contest. Special thanks to the organizers. I appreciate your work for two reasons. One, organizing something is not easy. I've tried many times, and failed so well done. Secondly, I've been doing A lot of thinking these past few days. Trying to find out the relationship between technology and business was something I've always been interested in. I've not posted for some time but this contest intrigued me and here I am, ready to participate. To me, the questions I've always asked myself have been answered and I'll like to share my thoughts with everyone.

For us to know the relationship between Technology and Business, it's important to know what they truly mean.
Technology has to do with practical science i.e, applying science in everyday life. Business on the other hand is something one does to earn a living.
Now the question comes, "how do I apply science so as to boost my business and earn a living?"

It's insane how technology has seeped into our daily life if I must say. It has seeped into our bloodstream and bone marrow and I won't be wrong if I say this generation can't survive without Technology.
If you doubt me, check if you can successfully abstain from your charged phone filled with data for 24hours. Absolutely impossible.

But then, these technological devices are not just for fancy. They're made for a reason. It's left for us to think, and see how we can use these devices for our own good.

I'll like to divide this post into two sections

• How to Boost your business with Technology
• How I've done that personally

How to Boost Your Business With Technology

Like I said before, technology and business are interwoven. There are always questions on how to make the best use of technology. Well, here's one way.

-Social Media: Using Social Media platforms like Twitter, WhatsApp and all can greatly boost our business.

Let's take WhatsApp for example. You can post ur products on your status for people to view them. But then, posting when you have little views won't help you in anyway. Hence the need for contacts arises. Contacts can be gotten through advertisements on WhatsApp, VCF files, and stuff like that. What's the aim? To boost your business.

-Websites: Apart from social media platforms, there are websites where you can advertise your goods. These websites are easy to use, Hawkit is an example.

-Environment: Technology does not only involve phones, gadgets and all. We can also apply technology in shops and offices.
Let's say one is a fashion designer. The truth is that the beauty of your shop and the kind of sophisticated machines in it can draw people into your shop. It's not an opinion, it's facts.
This is where technology comes in. Using some awe inspiring or jaw dropping technologies can go a long way in boosting a business.

-Buying: A business does not only involve selling products. Yeah that's the main thing but to sell and earn, you need to buy at a low price. This is where technology comes in. Websites like Jumia sell products at a low price hence people can buy from them and sell at normal price hence gaining more profits and boosting their businesses.

How I've Used Technology For Business

Well, it's not been an easy ride. Technology has helped but then using it is not easy. I'm still a student so I have no shop, no big business or whatever.
But then, the little thing I'm using to sustain myself I post it on my status so people can view, and patronize me.

In conclusion, a word of advice to steemians. The world is evolving, technologically. Never be stagnant, change with the world. That's the only way to succeed.
