Good day my highly esteemed steemians, trust we are all good, here's a brief blog, thanks for going through.
As we've known from our literature, the popular Metonymy figure of speech, "The pen is mightier than the sword", and also from the anonymous quote, "the shortest pen is greater than the longest memory".

What do we intend to gain from this blog?
~Understanding the importance of writing
~The vital use of the recording device, it's importance and it's wrong application in the educational parlance
~Remedies.

Life in the campus is such that is very interesting. Here, there totally is freedom given everyone, who isn't under watch of anyone. Attending lectures in the campus is very important as they form part of the assessment and gradings, but some students don't feel obliged in attending lectures accurately.

Today our area of focus is keenly on the word PEN. Pen as we know is a substance, a device used or tool used in writing. The Pen plays a very vital role, as it helps in remembering things we had written down which both ordinarily and naturally would have forgetten. However, we live in a global village, a digitalised world where we tend to replace function of the pen with our digital devices, such as the laptops, iPads, mobile phones, etc. Today with the Advent of this devices, and its applications in the educational sector has helped not only students but lecturers, and staff at large, in that most lectures tends not to make use of the marker pen any more but now get their lectures rather in soft copies and and have them display on the projector's screen while they lecture. Students now seek for these soft copies from their lecturers, and if they are unable to grasps all explanations given by these lecturers, they tend to take records.
The act of taking records is very important, it serves as source of information, in the legal parlance, it serves as evidence, and has different important roles, both positively and negative depensing sorely on its form of usage.
Taking records during lectures is a very wrong action, a lecture should only be recorded if prior permission has been given by the lecturer, because sometimes during lectures an example/information might be cited which ordinarily shouldn't leave the lecture hall, but via this recordings it may turn out be a negative reaction on the part of the lecturer. School authorities overtime has pleaded recordings not be done during lectures, but this has been abortive.

Dangers of Recording
~ Uploads of Records without Permission: Taking of recording secretly is against the human right law to speech, because a lecture may in the lecture hall speak on how he feels about certain situations/happenings around, which may not be pleasing to the world should his/her view be leaked out via recording.

~ Insecurity: With lectures recorded, lecturers in fields like the Political Science and probably other political related courses may have fright in inculcating to their students what they feel is wrong about the governments as this may endanger their lives and family's.

~ Fraud/Plagiarism: If a content recorded is given out without their prior permission of the lecturer, it entrenches on the copyright laws, and originality of contents, should anything else be gotten out of it in other forms, it would be term plagiarism and an offence.

Therefore, as a form of remedy, key areas of interest noteworthy during lectures should be penned down as forms of further reference, and not rather taking of records during lectures, as it is against a normal standard except proven otherwise. Let's therefore work together, hand in hand to ensure what we do what is right to ensure a better tomorrow.

Big thanks to you all, who have taken time in going through this, I'm very much grateful.
Greater thanks goes to @campusconnectng
