What if they don't By@srrebullient

The world we live in is full of unexplainable facts. Things we don't know are more than the ones we do and most times the ones we think we know aren't what they are.
Even though we humans are regarded as intellectual beings, our knowledge of things are still very much insignificant when compared to the versity of knowledge out there.
We know very little about our begining and less about our end.
If knowledge is equivalent to power then our small knowledge only guarantees us of small power.
For that reason, we humans naturally depend on things/beings we do not totally understand for guidance and protection because we believe that there are more to whatever we know.
Religion aside for now, every human has this consciousness in him/her about a supernatural being who is all powerful, all knowing and almighty who is to be feared and worshiped.
Humans who live in the middle of the thick amazon rain forest without any form of civilization nor religious influence still has it in their subconscious that there should be someone or something Supreme which always lead them into worshiping either a big tree, strange rock, the sun or anyother thing they really don't understand.
Same thing applies to our forefathers who worshiped deities, oracles, rivers, moutains and lands. All are a result of the natural call of man by the Supreme being.

This natural consciousness in man led to the discovery of religion.
Religion was discovered with the invention of writing around 3,200 BC.
The pyramid text in Egypt is the oldest known religious text which is dated as far as 2300BCE.

Some other early religious copies includes;

The Upanishads, some of which date to the mid-first millennium BCE.

The Dead Sea Scrolls, representing fragmentary texts of the Hebrew Tanakh.[14]

Complete Hebrew texts, also of the Tanakh, but translated into the Greek language (Septuagint 300-200 BC), were in wide use by the early 1st century CE.

The Zoroastrian Avesta, from a Sassanian-era master copy

Science have since been debating on several religious believes especially that of christainity but nothing have really been proven except those already contained in the religious books thousands of years ago.
Below are some already proven facts contained in the bible before a proper experiment/observation was carried.

Before the invension of telescope, it was already in the bible that the earth hangs on nothing.
That's mind blowing for thr fact that the writers of those books are men without any formal education or basic knowledge of science yet they were so accurate in their words. That's a good reason to believe that their writings were inspired by a supernatural being who has all the knowledge.
Like I said earlier, the universe in full of mysteries we can't explain and the more science tries to nullify this being, the more reason they find to believe which is what has brought about the aspect of science known as "Intelligent design".
Intelligent design is a science idealogy which belives that the universe in made by an intelligent being (not necessarily God) but a being intelligent enough to design all we see and can't see.
The fact that they at least believe in an intelligent being in a step close to God which led Albert Einstein to say that

"The greatest discovery science will ever make is to discover God"

The question now is, should we just believe based on proven facts around us or should we continue to wait for science to discover God! Well, what if they don't?

Thanks for reading.

Methink that if we are to wait for the discovery of science to be convinced by the existence of God, then we actually will wait for so long.

"The greatest discovery science will ever make is to discover God"

But then, i love this words from Albert Einsten. Scientists will get avalanche of accolades if they make this discovery and get it justified.

Beyond every reasonable doubt, lets not wait for the discovery of science because it is a dynamic impossible discovery

@davosimple I do not really think science will ever get to discover God as a being but in a quest to disprove God's existence, they all might as well discover more reasons to approve of it

Truly, the world is full of unexplainable facts. Oh well, science has done well in backing up some facts being stated though. Thanks

Impressed to see this, wonderful write-up.
