Confidence is your opinion about yourself. It is how well you feel or how much you rely on yourself to perform a certain task.
A healthy sense of confidence is vastly required to promote one's social skills and eventually, it enforces the person to reach out to his or her full potentials.
Unfortunately, self confidence is highly deficient in the life's of individuals in our current society and that prompted me to go into research and pen down 4 points on how to improve and enjoy our confidence level :)

Check the Friends you keep

You should ask yourself this, "What kind of friends do I keep?". This is because, the people in your social circle have great impacts on your self esteem. The more time you spend with someone who gives you a negative kind of energy and is hardly supportive on whatever you decide to do changes who you are over time. You get weighed down with the thoughts that you're not good enough to do what the elites can do. You feel worse about yourself after every interaction with these set of people. Most of the time, a lot of people put up with this toxic friends because of other benefits, this make them difficult to let go and in the end of everything, it causes a serious toll on your self confidence.
I would suggest that if you feel bad everytime you hang out with a group of people, it's prolly a time to say goodbye. You will still make other friends.

Never compare yourself with others

Many of us have been here a lot of times. You have a friend who always gets the applause from basically everyone, even your parents and you try a lot but end up saying, "I can never do it like he does it". This is very bad for your confidence and it may cause you to feel inferior about everything. You just have to understand that everyone started small and above all, no two people were created to be alike. There's something special about you and you aren't letting your mind figure that out when you go into such thoughts. The more envious you get, the worse you feel about yourself... Try to stop it.

Try to be more independent

You should try to spend some time with yourself. Find out what's best for you, try out new things and figure out the areas of your life that's lacking.
You also need to learn how to get things done on your own. Such independence helps you to learn that you don't need a person to succeed at doing a particular thing and there's nothing that would build confidence other than having the feeling, "I can really do that!".

Take care of yourself

Try to practise self-care,
Eat better- you should try to avoid junk and engage in eating healthier to avoid obesity.
Do a lot of exercise- engage in weightlifting, pushups and other muscle building activities to get good curves and nice features on your body. Once you feel good about looking at yourself in the mirror, it builds up that confidence.
Dress perfectly- once you are always on good clothing, it makes people think good about you and this improves your confidence in public.

These are the few points I have for you. Hope it aids you to boost up that confidence level.
Thank you so much for your time!! :)
