We know lungs is an organ that deals with oxygen and gas exchange so the lungs of the earth refers to the part of the earth that plays a major role in the oxygen circulation around the earth and we have the biggest supplier as the Amazon rain forest

Se considera que su extensión llega a los 6 millones de km² repartidos entre ocho países, de los cuales Brasil posee la mayor extensión de la Amazonia, seguidos por Perú, Colombia, Bolivia, Ecuador, Guyana, Venezuela, Surinam y la Guayana Francesa. La Amazonia destaca por ser una de las ecorregiones con mayor biodiversidad en el mundo.

Hola!

Los árboles son los pulmones de la Tierra. En las selvas/bosques tropicales, estos “inhalan” dióxido de carbono (CO2) del aire, limpiando el aire el aire y regulando el clima.

Los bosques vivos benefician a la salud de las personas y los animales, con el arduo trabajo que realizan con el CO2, además ayudan a controlar el clima del planeta y las precipitaciones, evitando catástrofes naturales.

Es más la contaminación que se genera por la pérdida de bosques que por el transporte mundial (aviones, trenes, automóviles y barcos en conjunto). La deforestación produce 15% de las emisiones de CO2 anuales en todo el mundo. Los suelos perturbados, unto con las ramas y hojas podridas, hacen que el carbono sea liberado al aire.

Hello, the lungs of the earth are the trees, because they perform an extremely important function:

They "inhale" carbon dioxide "CO2" from the air, cleaning the air and regulating the climate. A world without trees simply cannot exist.
