Knitting and sewing are two activities that attract me because I am a lover of manual work, I share this activity with my mother and I learn from her every day.
In sewing I am an apprentice, curious, the woman of details: a button, the closure, the appliqué, the hem, the lace, the ribbon. I am at this moment learning to make a bra.
In weaving, I have traveled a long way from a very young age I started to make chains, moñeras, dresses for dolls.
For me, going to a fabric or thread store is like a child going to a toy store, it's exciting, I want everything.
Some time ago it was very normal to have yarns at home to weave, to make any garment to give as a gift and at some point to sell. That was financial help for the family.
It can be knitted from a small cloth to a large garment. There are a variety of points with which you can form drawings and make the fabric a real dream. In my house, woven cloths never go out of style.
Together with my mother, some time ago I thought about creating our own brand of woven pieces, made at home, even our common dream had the name CREACIONES MAR. The economic situation kept us from this possibility, but as far as possible we continue to weave.
It is very nice to connect the dots and with them do what you imagine or dream.

Tejer y coser son dos actividades que me atraen porque soy amante del trabajo manual, comparto esta actividad con mi mamá y de ella aprendo todos los días.
En costura soy aprendiz, curiosa, la mujer de los detalles: un botón, el cierre, la aplicación, el ruedo, el encaje, la cinta. Estoy en este momento aprendiendo a hacer brassier.
En tejido he recorrido un camino más largo desde muy niña empecé a hacer cadenetas, moñeras, vestidos para muñecas.
Para mi ir a una tienda de telas o de hilos es como un niño cuando va a una juguetería, es emocionante, lo quiero todo.
Hace algún tiempo era muy normal tener en casa hilos para tejer, hacer cualquier prenda para regalar y en algún momento vender. Eso era una ayuda económica para la familia.
Se tejer desde un paño pequeño, hasta una prenda de vestir grande. Hay diversidad de puntos con los cuales se pueden formar dibujos y hacer del tejido un sueño real. En mi casa los paños tejidos nunca pasan de moda.
Junto con mi mamá, tiempo atrás pensé en crear nuestra propia marca de piezas tejidas, hechas en casa, incluso nuestro sueño común tenía nombre CREACIONES MAR. La situación económica nos alejó de esta posibilidad, pero en la medida de lo posible seguimos tejiendo.
Es muy bonito unir puntos y con ellos hacer lo que imaginas o sueñas.
