WHERE CAN I FIND HAPPINESS ? || PART 2 || BY @amicablepeace

If you have ever attempted to find happiness from external things, or from anyone's approval, I regret to be a bearer of bad news but, I can tell you categorically, that you have wasted your time. All the things you have and everything people say about you cannot bring genuine happiness. Whatever you find there is momentary emotional compensation not happiness. Your happiness reside within you and you alone.

In 1955, two psychologists (JOseph Luft and HARrington Ingham), developed a theory known as Johari Window. They named their model "Johari" using a combination of their first names.

According to this theory, there a 4 dimensions of our lives. The first is the part of you that you know and others knows it as well. Its called the OPEN self. The second is a part of your life that you don't know but others knows it. You see it as normal but its really out of place for others. Its the BLIND self. The third is the UNKNOWN self. These are information about your life that you do not know and others aren't aware of it either. You are even surprised yourself when you touch this aspect of your life.

The last is where I want to emphasis. Its called the HIDDEN self. Its information about yourself which you know but others do not know. This is where your happiness or sadness is. If you ever lie to yourself here, you can never attain happiness in this life.

Packaging to be someone else make you a second class. The best of you is revealed in your original self. Happiness comes from the freedom and sincerity that reflect from the inner self.

Anyone of us who lives a secret life know what he's doing and as such even when we clap for him on the surface his true identity always stare at him on the face.
No amount of packaging can undo this truth. All the time you spend wishing another person's life is a time spend wasting yours. It is foolish to want to be another person.

The opposite of poverty is not wealth. Money comes with its equivalent problems. The opposite of poverty is contentment. And contentment comes from you inner convictions that life is worth living and worth living well...

Happy people has past. They too had made mistakes, perhaps worst than yours. They only choose not to be define by their failure. They choose to be grateful for today.
Those "big laughs" you see in them isn't fake. Its a sign of personal enhancement and hope. They laugh not because they are happy. They are happy because they now laughs

In all your getting, get wisdom. This simple truth can set you free forever.
